Everyday you have is a gift. We tend not to think that way with our healthy kids, but the same hold true, we just take it for granted. I am constantly reminded of this with my youngest 3 which were adopted from horrible situations. Especially my youngest who wasn't supposed to able to walk or talk. They also thought she would not make it through babyhood, she had breathing problems. I used to sleep with one eye open with her bassinet right next to me. I would listen for her breathing. Sometimes I would wake up in a shock, scare the crap out of myself.

Keep making the memories, take lots of pictures. Whether they move out normally, or leave in some other way, it will still be those memories that you cherish.

I can honestly say, if something happened to any one of my kids, I wouldn't feel guilt of not spending the time, or building the memories. Its the best I can do.

I am not in the same position, but I can empathize. I grew up in Simi Valley from 1980 to 2003 so I feel a connection. Post some pictures so we can keep him in prayer.

      Dear Ross and Alice,

My families prayers are with you and your family especially young Trevor!!! We have gone thru the good times watching our two daughters grow up around boats and the water and they still go out with us even though they are full grown. We also went thru some serious scares with our youngest so we empathise with you and your wife.
Take care and with all the prayers from the Tige family we hope Trevor gets well soon.

            Ross and Alice,
Family is everything in this world, I have three of my own and can't imagine the pain you must be going through for your son. It brings me joy although to know that you have faith in Christ, our great creator. Without Him we have no hope of eternal life. It is great to see that there is so many believers
on tigeowners, we truly are a big family. I will definately keep trevor in my prayers, God has a plan, keep the faith! yours in Christ, Jeff

I just recently found out that a friend of mine in Memphis is dealing with the same thing. He has his son at St. Judes, what a great hospital, and is staying at the Target House......I encourage everyone to consider St. Judes and the Target House for their 2008 donations. These groups provide so much comfort and care, truely a wonderful charity.

                        Wake and Family,
Best of luck on Friday, Trevor has a wonderful family and I'm sure wonderful care, I cannot imagine what you and your family are going through. Stay strong and beat this, it can and will be done!

                        You are in our thoughts,

                        Jeremy and Cathy

I want you to know that I will keep Trevor and you in my prayers. I pray that God will touch him in a special way and guide his doctors providing care this Friday. Your extended Tige family is with you through this difficult time and will lift you up in prayer each day.
                          Sincerely, Eddie T.

We also have a family member that had the same cancer. She was diagnosed approximately 2 years ago and is now in total remission. We know and feel what your family is about to go through. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you, all.

                                Trevor

                                Dear Ross & Alice,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you, your family and Trevor. We wish Trevor the very best possible outcome during surgery tomorrow and through his treatments thereafter. It sounds like you have a great, caring family and Trevor is surrounded with people that love and support him. We hope all goes very well and Trevor gets healthier so you can continue to build great memories of boating for many years to follow.

                                Best Wishes,
                                Tri Valley Marine
