    selling boats in Canada

Anyone here know of any good sites for selling a boat in Canada? It's my understanding that boats bring a bit more up there and are selling like hot cakes there as well. I gotta get rid of my 24V before my new boat gets here and figured it wouldn't hurt to post it up all over.

I know here we have boat trader.... but wasn't sure if there was a better site for up there or not.

I have used this one and it is good. Another good one that uses pics is boat trader. I live in Calgary Alberta and talking to my buddy who is a boat manager (for Supra and moomba) and our Tige dealership-they are both top sellers and say Calgary people buy tons of boats and we have no close lakes but there is lots of oil money here to buy toys. Man that is bad sentence structure-sorry its late. In summary-Calgary would be a good place to try and sell a boat as lots of people are dropping big cash on them here. You can try our local Tige dealer as he might advertise it on his used boat site---hyperactive watersports in Calgary.Hope this helps and good luck. thanks guys... thats exactly what I was looking for. One of the big things I'm gonna do is fly prospective buyers out at my expense... only serious buyers of whom the funds are verified as available of course. I'm gonna sell it Canada for the same I'm selling it here for.... so hopefully I'll get it sold fast.

Gotta get it gone b4 the new boat gets here. It's at the dealer right now getting every little gel coat knick, etc. taken care of then it's off to the Lake for pics... and then goes up 4 sale

It's a good thing you live in Oklahoma, cause I'd verify my funds if you lived in Las Vegas, Orlando, New York....etc.....for a free trip!!

Good luck with the sale, interesting idea to cater to the Canadian market. Is the local market that bad that flying someone from Canada, shipping the boat...etc, makes financial sense?

I've got someone here in Oregon (Corvallis) that is currently looking for a deal on a 22-24ft, if you'd like to PM me any and all info I'd be happy to pass it along.

LOL.... yeah I didn't figure many canadians would be wanting to visit OK. I'll PM you some info later on when I have time. Haven't honestly tested the water here yet, as the boat is at the dealer getting every little problem fixed b4 going up for sale. I want the boat spotless for the new owner. I might sell it here in a day for all I know.... but in all honesty, there aren't any tige's in my area. So it's hard to tell. The brand new local dealer is only selling Z1's and 20i's. Good thing is, the price of all the 24' foot inboards of any brands at the dealers here is ungodly. I just want it gone fast, so gonna hit AR, OK, TX, KS, and Canada hard w/ boat trader adds, etc.
