I was going through some pictures of my brother and I this morning, and came across this one from a family renion back in 1986. Take a look at how far boats have come. Man this Nautique looks so vintage. Boats sure have come a long way. Not sure what year this one is but I think that it was probably 5 to 10 years old at the time of the picture. Our tige's sure have a lot more to offer that this Ski Nautiqe did!

Yeah, those old closed bow glastrons were great ski boats with a pylon and a huge merc outboard. My dad worked in the glastron factory as a kid so we had several of those and then graduated to a string of stars and stripes mastercrafts and ski nautique 2001's...both great boats, I wish I had enough insight at the time and I would have begged to keep the last stars and stripes we had, it was metallic navy blue banners and nose stripe on metallic gray.
