They have done this stupid experiment before, and it provides a temporary change, and may not even help. I think they are stupid. It didn't have any benefit before...so let's do it again.
They need to understand that it is a permanent change since the Glen Canyon dam was built. The water coming into the Canyon is now clear, when it used to be silty. There is one of the best trout fisheries in the world beneath the dam, and they do what they can to destroy it, but nothing short of removing the dam altogether will fix it. The enviros know that and that is why they want it removed. So they do what they can to mess it up.Be excellent to one another.Comment
