    New Twin Tip Water Skiis!

Has anyone tried these skis? I use my twin tip snow skis all winter, it's the best invention ever. I can't believe this took so long to make it to water sports. I hope you don't have to go too fast, I don't want to eat it backward at 30 mph.

That video looks like it was shot on Lake Austin. It looks fun.

I saw these at the wakeboard shop the other day, they look like the could be fun I just thing one good wipeout would put my knee back out of order...again...which I would rather not do. The are also $400, agreed that they would be fun to try, but I think I would rather buy another surfboard over a pair of skis.

Thanks for clarifying that for me. I was curious about the HO's. It's a different approach to trick skis, compares to the body glove ones that have been around. The HO's have a similar design to twin tip snow skis. I live in Colorado and love my twin tip snow skis in the park. I've always been a skier and never really liked slalom skiing and I'm not great at wakeboarding. I'm real comfortable on two skis, however water skiing on two big skis is lame. This might be a good fit for someone like me.

I would like to know if anyone on Tige owners has tried the HO's, it would also be great if that person was an avid snow skier.

Ha, that's exactly what I compared them to at the wake shop the other day, I said they were like my twin tip salomon's but for the water, I got a total deer in headlights look from the guy...I don't think he has ever seen snow.

I saw a video of some guys jumping and doing heli's on them; however, the always landed on their a$$. The tails sank into the water on the landings. It almost looked like a design flaw.

Does anyone know the difference between the HO ones, and the hydroslide ones? The HO's sell for $400, while the hydroslide ones sell for $150. I think they'd be fun to try, but wouldn't drop $400 to try them.
