I didn't realize you have to pay to play to Colorado. All the lakes in AZ are public. It costs us $95 a year to use the ramps on the Salt River lakes and they are open year round with no ice, just a little cold (62 degrees). The private lakes must really be nice.

Most of the water that flows into the Salt River lakes in local and starts in Northern AZ. When the snow melts on the slopes at Sunrise and Snow Bowl, thats when the water starts to flow. Currently, the SRP is at 92% with Roosevelt Lake only having 6 feet to max capacity. The lakes are way full here, which is huge for AZ. This is only the second time in the dam's history that it will top out. Can't wait. We should be in the water in 4 to 5 weeks. Just need the water to clean up. The elevation has risen almost 50', which brings tons of debris off the banks.
