Yes, but this is way faster to change the oil. I can do an oil change in 10 minutes max with this handy tool and I do not have to fight with getting the line out the back or bottom of the boat. If you go to the dealers you will see that most of them have one of these. They also can be used on the trans, V-Drives, and cooling systems. They work great on cars also. They are very handy in draining the trans pan before pulling it off to change the filter and oil. Another good use for them is bleeding brakes on trailers, cars, and turcks.

I bought a 12v cheapy from Ebay to winterize my boat this year. They are WWWAAAYYYY easier than doing it the normal way. I was also able to change my trans and vdrive oil with it. I also used it to fill them back up so there was no mess from pouring spills. I will never be without one again Gonna wait for my p.o.s. to die before I order a new one though.

Does he mail it to you. It would be cheaper to take it to the local shop and have it done rather than pulling the boat all the way back there.
