Actually, I had an idea of building them into my transom years ago. I should have patented the idea. The slope of my transom is such that you could easily create a seating ledge that contained a bunch of speakers. It also solves the problem of making everyone else in the boat go deaf while you try and get tunes out to the rider.

Is the inverted sub install strictly for cosmetic purposes, or is there any type of sound advantage? Also, do you have to switch the polarity or anything on this type of install?

Tanner, Reverse mounting is just a way to show off the magnet. No sound advantage. Only other advantage is you can make the box smaller as you do not have to take into account woofer frame and magnet displacement. As long as both the woofers that are reverse mounted are the same polarity, you are OK. Some installs have one normal and one reverse, then you would take the reverse mounted and have it opposite.

Well I helped you clean out your warehouse. You are now missing 2 485s and 3 pairs of the XS650s. I got the WS420 too. You may want to have a talk with Justin, you're practically giving those things away in white. I figure a set of SpeakerSox and I'll never know the difference.
