Black Boat

That is a slick looking boat. I am not doing the deck in black, I think that will be too hot, I am just keeping it white on top.

My new Z1 is black the main is graphite and I kept the top white too as I could easily see scratch marks from people climbing in and out of it especially at the bow.
Have you ordered it yet? Cant wait for mine I am sure you are/will be the same.

Yes it is. I have the Pacific Blue on the top and the next boat will be white. Just way too hot during the summer.

I absolutely love black. It is by far my favorite color on a boat. My current boat is the second boat that I have owned with black on it. Here is my only problem with black: It shows EVERYTHING. Forget about grime and dirt. You can clean that. Black shows every nick and rub. To me, imperfections glare when on black. Imperfections make me crazy when I can see them on my boat. Therfore, black = stress. I have to have some, i just choose to have it in moderation. Good luck!

Very nice, I like it.

I too went with black, up keep is not that much of a stretch for me, but I did go with the white top. I'd like to obtain membership into the black boat club:

Top: white
Side: Black
Went with Graphite Gray for hull - for nostolgia, every boat I have owned since '86 has had that color of hull

Black does look great on boats, it is hard to keep clean, but as already stated when it's clean its awesome. I have a buddy that had a black Centurion and when he sold it to get into his new Centurion which was white w/ green graphics, he said never again we he own a black boat. Stated that it looked great but was too much work to keep clean to his satisfaction. Black I'm sure is very appealing to anyone who has never owned it, so I wouldn't be worried about resale. Most people who like to keep stuff clean are usually up to the challenge of keeping up with a black boat.
