Here are two of my favorite summer pics the day I blew out my lead knee slaloming. Hope fully with some more upper and lower body rehab I''ll get back up again. This was off my old Four Winns a couple of years ago.

Bad news was last year I could not get up on 1 or 2 ski's. After those pics I have had three ops on left knee and it still will not rebuild in PT correctly. I cannot get full range of motion or put hard pressure on it quickly like you do in a hard turn.
PT starts again in 2 weeks with new insurance so we will see what happens this time. Maybe a chiropractor?
Like Boarding and surfing are your passions, slaloming was mine. My daughter is learning to board and depending, I may try surfing later.
Only 3 more months 3...2...1...Season

Thanks for the comment. I just need to work hard at PT this spring and combine it with a sports medicine chiropractor an try try again.
Sooner or later something will work.

I re-injured my knee slightly again slaloming last summer. I have already had both of them operated on. The knees are not always happy with the watersports, dirtbiking, hockey and snow skiing.Just got fitted up for some custom made CT braces-I think it was Jason B who recommended them plus a couple of my buddies just got them. This might not be the best idea as I might think I am undestructable and push things harder LOL. It is a drag when we get injured.
Hope every thing goes good and you are on top of the water soon.

Well if I remeber correctly I started slaloming hard when I was 18 and trashed my knee 29 years later which made me 47 at the time. Now I am 50 working very hardf to get to 51 and I think I am starting to wear out the OEM equipment. The knee problem started with a mild meniscus tear that was treated and I was able to go at it again but at a slower and reduced pace. But, the better the knee felt the more I pushed because their were 5 slalomers in the family and I wanted to compete again. I got thru the end of the year and tore the hell out of the meniscus which had me bone on bone for 3 months while I evauated options and DR's. I finally decided on a reccomendation that wa to buy me 10 years with a titanium inner knee replacement. It went rather wll and I was up and walking in a couple of week but could not fot the life of me run or get full range. This went on until February and we scheduled a nother surgery to cleaup the joint and the remaining meniscus. Total failure. Iwas set back to the beginnig. Now I am trying to get range and flex back.
