I was just brining this back to the top as I am thinking of pulling the trigger. Polished or unpolished? Quick release or no?

If I was to do it again, I would get polished. I bought mine black and my taps plate rubbed against it and chipped the paint. Now it's peeling off.

I ordered mine with the quick disconnect and would do the same. It makes it easier to remove the platform to refinish it and for storage.

I got black and it has peeled, but i'm not really worried, no big deal. Larry said send it back and he would be more then happy to re-coat for just the cost of me shipping to and from. I got a guy here that can do it in a couple of days for what the shipping would be

Great product, no regrets, got bigger things to fret over then peeling paint that you cant see when it's in the water doing what it's supposed to do

Actually if you guys are still pondering, I am getting ready to write a review with DB drop readings at different speeds around the boat. I should have it up within 2 weeks. You will miss out on the special pricing if you wait though.

Hey guys the discount is $50.00. IMHO For $50.00 off I wouldn't rush

I may call the manufacurer Monday to see how far it goes back from the transom!

I am going to wait until I take delivery of my 20V until I ponder it again.

I think it is worth it but I have no need to rush
