Fresh Air Exhaust specials for February 08

Larry Mann and Fresh Air Exhaust are now offering specials in February. You can swap your black exhaust for a polished setup or get a deal on a new system. See the link below.
We really enjoy our system, especially when surfing. It also quiets the engine noise substantially.
Sounds like a group buy in the making.

Does it cause a real pain when removing the platform or does the quick release kit work well. We will have to remove the platform to get in garage on each return trip due to local and association ordinances that states no RV or Boats on drive so down goes the tower off goes the platform etc...

The quick release works pretty well, but the FAE itself does stick out further than the TAPS plate:

How much room do you have?

Won't work for me. It will eat up all spare garage length space based onr picture.

        Thanks for posting the pics.

I can't wait to get mine. Just coming up with I think $350 but with a 6 & 4 year old starting to ski for me it is a must.

I am in the same boat I need the space and I ahve to take the teak off. But it is worth any hassle, I think it looks like just a couple hose clamps to loosen and pull off.

So how much does it add to the length of the boat with out the platform? How many adjustments after installation?

I knew you guys were going to do that. I just put my boat away after removing most of the interior upholstry. I'll measure it the next time I work on it. Keep in mind that I have an older boat.

As for removing it, it's not all that easy to take off. Those hoses are on there pretty snug.

It wasn't too bad. The seatbacks are attached with deck galvanized deck screws. I got the front ones out. My guy says he can match my interior, so I'm not doing the two side seatbacks in the cockpit for now. The front center is bolted so I had to remove the speakers first to get at the bolts. The only thing not going in for recovering is are the two side seatbacks in the cockpit, the observers seatback and that side panel by the throttle. If it turns out my guy can't match the rest of the vinyl, then I'll pull out those sections as well.
