Thanks for the pics! That looks like a great show.

It's great for the Malibu Illusion because the tower is only 6 ft off the floor, but a crappy idea when the tower is almost 8 ft tall.

...shade for the fish. It Tige's way of contributing the reduction of global warming by keeping the fish cooler

We have used our 24ve several times here in fla. and the bimini covered us quite well and was very easy to operate, and we were on the water from 1.pm till 6. so the sun was at different angles during the day.

Personally, I like the new design because, as FIC says, it's super easy to operate when compared with previous biminis from Tige. It's also completely out of the way and it's bigger than it looks in the pictures.

....Now if they only added a drop-down surfboard storage rack like they have on the Supra....

I'm still trying to figure out if I like it. IDK... Looks odd but again FIC says it works well.

I have a hard time beleiving that is the same bimini FIC likes. You can see that it only extends far enough back to the edge of the tower. You can still easily get the rope on the tower. The tradeoff to a big bimini is getting the rope up there can be a pain.

It does not extend far enough forward either, as that it does not even go in front of the windshield.
                            Be excellent to one another.

The ones I saw at the Austin Boat show looked bigger as well.

It looks like you could get a custom one made that extended forward a bit more. I do like the fact that it is up much higher so I don't hit my head and it's over the speakers so they're a bit more protected.

Tigé should come up with a variation of the Z5 cargo rack that Supra/Moomba use. Offers good protection while allowing storage of boards, tubes, etc. Personally i'd rather have to duck a bit if neccessary than have useless bimini coverage like most of the over the tower designs offer.
