your not all that far from me.. I live close to Atoka OK. I've heard all kids of good things about broken bow and i have never been.. its only like 90 miles from me. what time of year do you and your family go? Have you ever tried Lake Texoma? your not all that far from there.. we always go to Lake McGee creek.. its close to atoka. its a small lake but its never packed.. they have a few cabins, but nothing fancy.

You could always try Lake Tenkiller. It's in OK still, but hey it's different.

You might try Beaver Lake at Rogers, AR. Then if, god forbid, your boat breaks down, you have a Tige Dealer right there on the lake

Beaver Lake is the last lake on the White River Chain of Lakes next to tablerock. I have not been on Beaver since I was a kid but if I remember it is a calm lake great for recreation. Just don't Board or ski under the bridges. They tend to have water born moccasins there

I live near Beaver. I'm on Beaver every weekend during the summer! It is a great lake. Really clean. I love it. I battle wind sometimes, but you can usually find smooth water.

Yes I heard about Cory. I'm highly dissapointed. But apparently he's gonna come back after his wedding. I made it very clear that they need to do EVERYTHING they can to get him back!

Joe (the main owner) is helping me as I put a call into him as soon as I found out Cory was gone. Cory leaving put me in a bad spot on a warranty issue that Mark let drop when he was the owner. Cory was the only other person that knew about it other than Andrew at Tige, and Andrew is gone too. So I was kind of left SOL w/ a warranty issue that was out of warranty now but "claimed" during warranty period.

So yep, I'll be there during for the show. That's what Joe requested.... so I'm doing my part! I'll have to hit you up, as I'm making the trip alone and don't know anything or anyone up there.

Yeah, i was upset when I heard about Cory too. He sold me my current boat, as well as, help me sell my last Tige. It would be great if he came back, but I hadn't heard that he was...but I didn't know he was getting married either. I'll have to give him a call.

Last year we went to Broken Bow the weekend before the 4th, they have alot of Cabin rentals up there and the scenery is great. I have gone to Texoma quite a bit, not a good lake at all for boarding, just mainly for cruising and great striper fishing. Lots of big boats, topless women, beach islands, and a boat load of fishing guides that won't think twice about you and your kids trying to ski or board.

I am from Ft. Worth, and we took a group to De Gray Lake and it was great. Crystal clear, (unlike our lakes around here) and not crowded. This was a couple of years ago, but there were only a few boats on the lake all week. The lake was so clear, they have snorkeling excursions. We stayed at De Gray State Park, very clean and well kept. It is also much closer, and much smaller, than the northern lakes Zad was mentioning. They are great as well. Go to any of these and you will enjoy yourself.

Yeah, I have heard of that lake, my brother goes there quite a bit and rents a cabin.. He really enjoys it, except for last summer, he sank his girl friends Malibu on the lake. Apparently there was an rock island in the middle of the lake that wasn't marked and they hit it going about 30 mph. Totally devastating!!!
