There are set keys in the top (an anchor bolt) that are tightened to fix the tower laterally on the boat. You would not need to worry about it b/c your hull and my hull are the exact same width.

You can download a manual to see the install involved from their website, monstertower.com
How much would shipping be to Calgary Ab, Canada? Im sure if you included shipping you would have me and my friends sold.
    any problems with customs?

I made a cross between a pylon and a tower for my old boat that was pretty rough, but it worked and didn't really require any drilling into the fiberglass. these moster towers are fairly simple. I'd think someone with a good pipe bender could do it.
You can but it is not cost advantageous. I work in the aviation field and have every availability to aluminum of all sorts, benders, welders, etc, etc. You can't build a tower for the money once you consider your time involved.

I will put mine for sell in the classifieds with some photos. It is drilled for speakers and bimini already. I already contacted Monster about getting new anchor bolts and the possibility of a swap to another boat. Your beam will need to be close to what mine is. illiniboarder88, I am going to look up yours, it may or may not be the same. if it isn't, you will need to have the anchor holes filled, and then redrill. I will measure before I post up the listing.

I have no idea. It breaks down pretty well, so it would be about 50 pounds and a box 5'x1.5'x8" or so. Thats what it came in anyway.

You beam is the same as mine, 90". I will measure the feet width and include them in my for sale listing that will be up soon.

Spharis, would i have the same beam as well?

            Illini,
we had a leak in the exhaust pipe which got patched just in time, as well as the packing gland was down to the smallest size of rope the mechanic had ever seen (thats why we brought it in) and the bilge plug was replaced (didnt even know it was there, and was just using the one on the transom).

according to the specs on the site, yes. I think the hulls are nearly identical, difference is closed vs. open bow.

Good question. thats why the mechanic didnt blame us. it was a small crack at the bottom. seemed like a quick fix. he just cut out a section and replaced it. runs great

spharis. ill try and find out shipping and then we will work out a deal.

I read this and thought you were talking about the accessory thats pictured with the tower (how we got on the subjects of exhaust leaks from a tower thread, I'll never know).

Anyways, if you had been referring to the model, I was going to say "Inspect the seal. Thoroughly."

I think an exhaust leak would be about the only thing that could pass on one of the accessories

What is the difference between the MT1 and 2? The height? The bars look slightly straighter, but the overall configuration looks like it is the same.
