I Put the FAE on last summer. Every boat should have one. It is the best thing I have added.

Can't decide if I want to add it or not. I have never surfed and I'm not sure I want to start because then I'll want to spend even more money

Kyle - We don't surf but even when I board I can smell the exhaust... Since putting it on I can't smell the exhaust at all... I was super sensitive to the smell and got headaches pretty easy... The FAE really is the best accessory I put on my boat...

Don't worry about the CO levels...do it for the sound reduction. I'd rather hear tunes than my engine.

I actually enjoy the low rumble of the exhaust. It's a V8 for pete's sake.
I'm on a boat man. I got my flippy floppies....

Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

With the above suggestion, I have one word.....RUN, run very fast You cant parallel a pair of 150 watt RMS speakers into a pair of 75 watt RMS speakers for a lot of reasons: sound quality, balance, volume, heat generated by the amp.

You can get a good 2 chnl or smaller 4 chnl and run bridged, for less then $200. If your Lucky, the boat may be wired for that 2nd amp, and all you would need to do is wire the tower.

The MX350.4/ZX350.4 is an inexpensive 4chnl that is perfect for 1 pair of PRO 60's with 175 watts x 2 bridged @ 4ohms.
Well I spent some money on Ebay the other day for 2 Kicker Tower Speakers and a Kicker amp to drive them since the rest of my system is the Tige Premium Sound System.

Above is the configuration that I went with for a low cost addition to the existing Tige Premium Sound System to add an average (not great) pair of tower speakers to the system.

Do you see any serious issues with the Kicker ZX250.2 and the Kicker KS60 can speakers for the tower? Each speaker will be wired to it's own channel on the ZX250.2.

Since it is Ebay I can't return but the KS60's were under $300 with shipping and the amp was around $80 including shipping.

I think things are coming together on other fronts while I am waiting to get the Fruit Salad Boat on its low boy trailer. I have found a 12" drawbar to lower the trailer front to help get it in the garage and I pick it up tomorrow from Advantage Trailer. (The drawbar not the boat).

The only other thing I need to figure out is how to add a long life battery in the system. First I have to figure how much of the wiring shell they installed at the factory and go from there.

Hey thanks for all the help.

Your going to have a great sounding system, Kicker is excellent quality gear and puts out a great sound. It wont project 80' back to the rider like pro audio will, but you didn't pay for that, but instead, went for a quality, mid-performance setup. As long as you keep this in perspective, you will be very happy

Adding a 2nd battery be a great addition. It will allow you run the system with engine off for a couple of hrs, and not worry about a dead "starting" battery. It can be done for about $150 and most of that is the battery.
