What do you like best about your Tige

I am headed to a Tige sales meeting tommorrow. I started thinking about all the things I like about my Tige. Then I thought, that would be a great sales tool at the boat show. Have a poster of all the things that Tige owners like about their boats. Here is my list:

Things I like about my Tige in order (2000 21V)
    • Dependable; over 750 hours, can’t rack up hours if it’s in the shop
    • TAPS; I like being able to adjust the wake to give the rider the cleanest wake possible
    • Gunnels are tall enough that you feel safe with little ones on board
    • Perfect Pass; marriage saver
    • I like the swivel seat; I usually have my seat turned at an angle toward my friends
    • I like all the storage; 6 wakeboards, 2 slalom skis, kneeboard, wakeskate, bunch of vests, cooler full of drinks, nothing on the floor
    • Boards are easy to access off tower
    • Tower does not creak, rattle or shake much
    • Lots of cup holders
    • I can see the rider easily in mirror, didn’t know boards can block your view on some other boats
    • Roomy bow area, can walk to front
    • The cover fits like a glove & love the ratchet system
    • Cooler, easy driver access
    • Stereo, easy driver access

In fact, they made this boat so well, you really don't want to trade it in. Not that the newer models don't have some great new features. It's just that it's still a pretty damn nice boat.

I agree with all the above. I am very pleased with how large the swim platform is on my 24V.

Tige' customer service, thats all I have to say......they destroy any other competitors from experiences around here from what I heard......MB is the only thing close to Tige'

oh yeah and the RZ2 will hold over 100 beers

The fact that it is NOT a MC. Don't have anything against MC really, but they are a dime-a-dozen on Lake Anna. Exclusivity can be cool!! One other thing I have noticed is that the Bimini is nice and high on the Tige as opposed to some other vendors (Centurion for one). I bump my head on my brother in laws low Bimini every time I'm in his boat. Everything else that I love is already in your list!!

I like that I can sell mine and turn about $4500 profit. I also like that I can fit my gremlins and the hog on there with me and hang out all day with plenty of room. It gets a little cramped with 2 families if they have older kids, but 2 families with kids under 10 fit just fine.

Not many folks around here have inboards or ski boats (welcome to the Gulf Coast), so I get lots of questions (my favorite is where are the fish are biting today). At LSF (louisiana spring fling) about 40-50 boaters are pulled in from surrounding states. That's the most boats I have ever seen at once. Usually I spot 1 or 2 on the lakes or rivers during busy weekends. One model I see a lot of is the 2001. We don't have the super high mortgage and the profit that goes along with the home sells around here; or the refi 80/20 that nets you enough to buy a boat; so most models around are 7years old +. There aren't any dealers of any model within 200 miles of me. Closest one is closer to Mississippi, and the next in Shreveport.

After all the work you did on your boat, you're your own dealer

I have been asked by several people at work to do work on their boats . Someone told them I work for front deck fishing time, and beer.

I did forget, we have a dealer than sells Tahoe, and another that sells Calabria. Other than that, you can get a bay boat on any given corner.

I like that this board is here to help anytime I need it!
I also like bieng in a different boat than everybody else.
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

The best thing about my Tige, is that it brings my family together every weekend. I know that may sound lame and mushy, but all three of my girls are sread out between Tahoe, San Francisco, and Brentwood, and it's great to get them home to share time with them. plus, when their in the boat, and they don't want to hear what you have to say, they can';t do much but listen. What are they going to do ? Swim home ??

Well said. Ashley, my oldest, is turning 17 in April. She is also going to graduate early, so after this semester, just one more. I don't know how much time I have left with her, you know? I think thats one of the reasons I put 200 hrs on my boat this past summer, going for 300 next.

                              Best Thing

                              I agree with above
Plus my number one is the smooth solid safe way the boats handles choppy conditions/other boats wake
