The owner is getting the new RZ4 so he needs to get rid of it. It was 69,000.00 new, so it is definitely priced right. It will still have warranty through May of '09.
Did you call or do you know him?

Just sent him an email asking for more info.

He wants to buy a new RZ4 next month, that's why he put the price so low.

Funny thing is, I was going to go with the RZ2 until I saw it next to my 24Ve. I actually like the Ve design better for some reason. It DEFINITELY rides smoother than my 22V did also. I plan on doing as much Wakesurfing as Wakeboarding from now on, so the choice was simple for me. The fact that the 24Ve was cheaper also made it a no brainer......

The other thing we considered with buying a new 24Ve was the fact that not too many other people would have that boat (an RZ2) at the lake (and we were right). My guess is that the Ve series styling will probably evolve into a more aggressive style like (if not into) the Z series (like the Z1). Would love to see a 24' Z series (Z4), I absolutely love the styling of the Z1 (not as much as my RZ2 though).

I think they are both very nice looking boats.

It is a matter of preference. If you like the pickled fork design the RZ2 is the way to go.

I had the 22V before and once I saw the RZ2 I knew I have to get me one of those, so I did.

I still think the Ve design is a very nice boat, and some may even like the design better than the RZ. But we are all lucky to have one of the nicest boat out there.

So the guy puts a huge 15 hours on the boat, now wants an RZ4. The per hour rate this guy pays is pretty huge.

                    EKsilva,

I assume he also said that it is all in perfect condition?

He didn't say the condition of the boat. I didn't ask.

Pay rate of almost $1,000 per hour on the boat. That's not counting the taxes.

If he trades the boat in he would save about $5k in taxes on the new boat (in Utah).

Is he going to call his new RZ4 "Big Love?"

                            More of a "expensive love"

I don't know where he lives, but since it is registered in Wyoming and Idaho Falls is just through the pass from Jackson, how much money he is kissing away to get what he wants probably doesn't matter. If he can afford to live anywhere in the Jackson area, I'd say he is doing ok for himself. That is a great price on an almost new boat. I couldn't stand to have such a short boating season, I guess that's why I live in Florida and just visit the great frozen north every once in a while.

I have seen leftover 07's for under 55k, about the only thing they were missing was heat and wetsounds.

                                For Example
