Man, there are so many nice boats there. The RZ2 were price the same as the MU 23 Wakesettler fully loaded.

I took a friend that is looking to buy a boat, of course I try to push him to buy a Tige, but for the prices I think he will buy the 23 footer wakesettler which was the same price as a 07 RZ2 with 40 hours (demo boat).
Our dealer sold 2 Cruiser Yacht 520's (the 52'rs) last year at the show. They sold 2 large Cruisers on opening day this year, and finished with a total of 5 big ones I think.

The salesman said that he trade it another 2008 for that one. Can you imagine how much money he lost on his first purchase this year?

The boat was originally priced at 1.5 mil and sold for a bargain of 1.35. His trade in was around one million he mentioned.

I was out on a 560 Cruiser Yacht in L.A. last year for a night ride... These guys are in the cell phone and video game industry and they use the boat for business mostly... They are friends of a friend kind of a situation and we were entertaining some of our Vendors that night... They let us use the boat and didn't make us pay for gas or anything and we had a great time... The people we brought thought we were the sh!t! Little did they know...

They have every video game imaginable on that boat... It was crazy going down below and playing Wii... But you could play 360, PS3, Wii and you could play online as they have broadband internet on that thing... The cockpit on that thing looked like an airplane cockpit with Sonar and radar and every imaginable piece of gadgetry you could think of... It was hands down the nicest boat I've ever been on...

That's to stop rocks from hiting the boat.

Being that he is in Idaho Falls, his favorite riding spot is probably 25 miles down a gravel road and has trout the size of a man's leg in it. I know I used to live near there. I think someone said on the other thread that he only has 15 hours on it. His riding season is from about June 30 to August 15. JK.

I am trying to tell my friend that 55k for a 2007 RZ2 is a good deal. He will not pay 72k for a RZ2 with 40 hours.

I forgot the name of the product but it is made in Canada. I think its name is rock guard and it runs abot $550 dollars but I so not know if that is US or Canadien currency.

I posted info on this earlier if you want one.

To get at the winch and hitch you have to remove the guard.

Could you get to it if your arms are very long and you went from the bow of the boat?

                        Hell I don't know.

I suspect you might be able to release the winch for launching but I have no clue as ro loading.

It is not hard to remove you just release a couple of clips which would concern me because it makes it easy ti rip you off.

Could someone please confirm or deny this (hopefully deny)?

Matt has a new shop in Boulder City that he will be opening. He had a problem with his big shop when he wanted to downsize, so he bailed out. Sold some of his boats to other dealers. The new shop is supposed to be open very soon if not already. I spoke to him about a week ago.

Being the genius that he is, he just happened to have a 3500 square foot garage at his house... so he is still operating there temporarily.

I think he might have overeacted to the shrinking market due to the housing crisis, but who knows. After 9/11 when I bought my first boat, I think he was the CEO, mechanic and salesman, all in one.

I was at the Vegas boat show yesterday. Yes I will post pics in another thread. I talked to Matt for a while yesterday. From the sounds of it he will be opening up at The Boat Shop in the next week or so after the show. I was sitting in the RZ4 and he came right up, couldn't remember my name, but knew who I was and remembered my boat. We talked for a while about the boats and him getting the new place all ready for the upcoming season. He's giving me a call in the next week or so after he is opened up to take mine down for some service. Its a little further for me to drive, but worth it.
