A couple of months can mean thousands of dollars in savings... The closer the season the more expensive it is...

Nice boat. You will have a good tim on it. The picture look good. just some cleanup and your good to go. I have heard Wetsounds are the way to go for speakers and heard nothing but good re: a monster tower.

      Welcome.

Winter is the time to buy, perhaps the overall economy situation fostered the lower price. Either way, you got a nice boat at a price your happy with.......rock on

Looks like you got one hell of a good deal. As for the trip, make sure you check the packing on the berrings.

Good advice, along with the tire age.

Looks like a good buy. There are several of us with basically the same hull shape. I don't think much is different on yours so if you have q's once you get it ask away. I've redone a lot mine from top to bottom. I would sell for $17500 with the new trailer.

FYI those airguide/VDO gauges are complete POS. Don't pull on them or bump them too hard until you are ready to buy some replacements. The TAPs guage unfortunately has the same housing and is just as brittle.

Ah, the road trip to go pick up the new boat is always fun. How long until you get to water test her?

I'm back. Went through snow and ice in Flagstaff, AZ but came back the southern route thru Las Cruces/El Paso.

Tested the boat for about an hour. Brand new tires on the trailer and they packed the bearings for us. Long trip but worth it...except the casino in NM kicking our tail. Thanks for the replies and I will have plenty of questions.

Damn I'm tired...about 2200 miles in 4 days. Boat is better looking in person, pics doesn't do this boat justice.

I know your pain. We left Tucson Friday, drove to Austin Texas all night, got there at at noon Saturday, test drove the boat, then back home on Sunday. About 2,500 in 3 days- Worth every minute of the drive.
                                Enjoy your new toy.
