    Surfboard Storage

I was just wondering where you store your surfboard. I've tried to put in the normal wakeboard rack, but it is too big.

Is there any other rack that we can install on the tower to put away the surfboard?

Only the thicker boards won't fit in my board racks. Mine fit up there just fine. Hyperlite Broadcast and a Trick Boardz MOJO XL.

I think the Inland Surfer boards are going to need their own racks. They do make them, just break out another $300 and you can have a surf specific rack.
    Be excellent to one another.

What board do you have? Have you cut the little tabs off the rubber strips?

There are a couple companies out there that make wakesurf specific racks that will clamp on the tower.

We have a 5'6" Brodcast that we keep in the wakeboard rack. I did trim the ruber insert so it would fit without messing up the deck. We are planning to upgrade to a yellow loogie this summer and I suspect that it may be to thick for the rack. If I think I will add a board rack for it.
Hope to see some other thoughts.

I have the CWB Ride. It fits very snug and leaves marks on the top of the board after I take it off the rack

I think that is a good idea to cut the little tabs. I think the wakeboards will still hold in place fine.

Get a wakesurfboard rack. I got mine from Monster Tower. It'll hold anything, even my 5'11" Broadcast.

CWB Ride fits perfect after you cut the tabs. I cut the tabs the first weekend with the board because I could tell it would fit in there but those tabs were in the way, works perfectly now.

My favorite are the dbot5 surfracks, the AXL PLII, and you can even add the addon piece so each rack holds 3 boards. I have 2 of these on my 24Ve.

You can see them on this picture, I have them higher up on my tower, one on each side.

I actually dislike my dbot 5 surf rack. It shakes on the splines where the mount and the rack come together. The inserts scratch my Inland Surfer, While i like the 2 board configuration, I wish I would have bought the Monster tower single surf rack

I regurlarly have 4 boards in them, and haven't had either of those issues.

Hey ragboy I like the Team Garcia theme...

Although if you ever sell your boat me or Matt are gonna be the only interested parties... Here's how it would go... Allow me to do a PREenactment:

Mrs. Lunchbox: "We don't need a 24 foot boat."

Me: "But honey, it has our last name already embroidered on the speakers and mirror cover. It's meant to be!"

BTW - Where's the best place to get the dbot5 racks?
