The Alpine pdx amps are great for their small size and pretty good power and lower current draw but lack the raw power.

The Hertz amps are un real when it comes to raw power. Gobs and Gobs of power.

I will also be installing on the tower as I have kappa perfects in the boat and no tower speakers. Can anyone recomend a good tower fixture or is it better to make your own fiberglass enclosure?

Hey Tim, Would def like some stickers! I also have some ?'s on the best power supply for your speakers. I just bought a 22i From Blaine and Cathy at GBMC (awesome people) and they are building my system. I want the best clarity and volume... I have always been into high end car audio but the marine stuff is new to me. Everyone is raving about your product so I think I got lucky right from the start! The boat will have six 650's, I think thats what they are, and a pair of pro-60's. I want optimum sound quality and volume with both. I figured you would have that answer. How many watts per channel rms/ohm? and Blaine is a kicker dealer, so if you could recommend what amps they make that would work best. I heard of the factory configuration with that five channel kicker amp but that doesn't seem right to me. I also have some amps, that I took out of my jeep, that I could use as well. THANKS in advance.

Here is a shot of the EQ. We cut out a section of the dash and flushed it level. So it is not just bolted up there. So if you go that route. You won't lose any leg room.
