No problem at all. Thank All of Ya'll! Glad we could help and glad we can move some of these.

Lucky and others. I tuned the tweeter on the XS650 differently than most car audio or marine speakers. They are tuned brighter. In a boat or open air environment. And in the low placement in most boats, having a nice crisp high end will overcome a lot of those obstacles. Plus the XS650 have tons of mid bass. I would set you system at flat on the head unit. Then adjust from there.

Also, the XS650 like a lot of power. They play great with the factory set up and power. But if you want to go crazy and really see what they can do. Put a solid 100 watts rms into each one!!

I am running 140 watts into each speaker in my boat. I have 4 pairs. And for those that have heard it. I turn the subs off and crank just the in boats and people think there is a 10 inch sub hiding somewhere.

So don't be afraid to give them some power.

Also, the bright tweeter and mid bass punch work great for those that are using them in factory type tower cans. So keep that in mind as well.

Lunchbox, Call the office 877-938-7757 and talk to Gyver. I have been at my office for the last 2 weeks and am not sure.

I will post when I have an exact day.

Yup, one of the main reasons I made it. Not a fan of lake roaches. Especially when we are on Lake Austin. It is so narrow already.
And these ID-10-T's try to jump our wake when someone is riding. Even had one try to jump while someone was surfing.

We had my RZ4 loaded with about 8 peeps and about 4000 pounds. It was a monster surf wave. So after that we got everyone in the boat with no one riding. I yelled at the guy. You want to hit it so bad. Hit it right here. I pointed to the biggest part. He came flying in and went stragiht up. Flew off his jet ski. It rung his bell. So as he swam back to his ski, we yelled. Don't ever hit someones wake while somones riding.

He got on his ski and took off away. I think he learned his lesson and also not to try to jump the boats wakes. Especially not mine

Yesterday when I talked to Justin, he had a few of the 12 inch subs that were in perfect condition, just had been opened to show people at the show, so did not feel right about selling them as 'new'. They were never installed, just opened on the countertop.

I almost was tempted to buy one, even though I did not need it.

The discount on the sub was steep also.

My only problem with the EQ is where to mount it. My legs are long, so just popping it under the dash is not as easy as it sounds. I think with a little creativity and craftmanship, I can pull something off. With intentions to sell the boat this summer for a new one, I am not sure about putting it in this one, or waiting until the next. Tim's writeup will hopefully give some ideas about where to put the EQ. I didn't think about using the mic to yell at the lake roaches...Good idea!
                      Be excellent to one another.

Here is a shot of the EQ. We cut out a section of the dash and flushed it level. So it is not just bolted up there. So if you go that route. You won't lose any leg room.

The EQ is the WS 420. http://www.wetsounds.com/pages/products/WS-420.html

                                This deal rocked!

And I can not say enough good things about the help i received from Justin and John @ Wetsounds.

Since I already have the XS650's in the new boat, I decided to complete the WS package with a 3 some to replace the Samson 720's and a pair of the 12" subs to boost the base over the stock WS 10"

                                Now onto amp shopping

I have to decide on continuing to build my Alpine PDX amp collection or switching to the same amp company that Tim uses in the RZ4... The awesome HERTZ line.
