We didn't end up going tonight. It started raining and got real, real cold. They forecasted winds up to 60 mph. I could just see me paying for 4 tickets, getting 2 runs in and then they close the lifts down-I'd go CRAZY! I can hear the wind howling like crazy outside right now, glad we called it off!
That means one more week without breaking a bone
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

Yeah, it was great weather. We had a few days when the snow came down and pounded out 9 new inches. On the way up, I was a little nervous because our temperature gauage showed it was -13 F in Driggs. As we started climbing up to the resort, the temperature went up to +17 F. Regarding boarding on double blacks, that is why I am sticking with skiing and boarding will be a part time hobby. I needed that helmet a few times this trip, when I was boarding some young lady took me out from behind.

And thats why we have poles-for hitting and stabbin--I kid I kid LOL.I am sure I will try boardin at some point. As far as the helmets-as a medic when I was with the city,we would go to the local hill for concussions all the time-why no lid. They call it a brain bucket for a reason. There are times I wish they would make a full body suit. LOL

I don't wear a helmet when I ride for 1 simple reason, if I put a helmet on I get a false sense of security and then start doing tricks that I shouldn't be doing/trying anymore, I'm 33 now and I certainly won't heal as fast as I did when I started snowboarding 17 years ago. We got season passes this year and I make my 7 year old daughter wear the helmet, guess I am a hypocrite...

Try being 49 11.5/12ths and see how you heal

I can tell you that at 40, you don't heal very fast.

I know this is further making this thread but does anyone wear a lid when they waterski or wakeboard.Of course you can let me know if that is a stupid question-I wont take offence.

I bought a helmet a couple years ago (it's purchase was the result of a particularly bad fall), but I don't wear it often. I do get it out occassionally if I'm going to try something new that is most likely going to lead to a nasty crash. For example, if I try a raley, I'm putting on the helmet. I really don't mind the general physical beating that comes with wakeboarding, but the shots to the head kind of scare me.

I do - sounds stupid that I don't wear one snowboarding but do wear one wakeboarding but basically I hit my head pretty hard one time and decided that I would try it and now I've grown accustomed to it. The water landings on the rest of the body don't compare with a snowboarding crash and that's the reason I don't wear one when snowboarding, don't want to try wakeboarding tricks on the snow because I know I will get hurt.

I always wear a helmet when hydrofoiling, wakebaording, or footin. Don't wear one slaloming or surfing. Got a good concussion (sp?) from wakeboarding once.

It was awesome, but a little too sleepy. It was really boring looking and the motor wasn't loud enough. However, the seats were really sweet.

I'm replacing the S6 with an M3 that I bought today, it's being shipped from Chicago. The M3's never disappoint me.

What year of M3? What color? Does it have SMG? They are very cool cars! I just saw a video of one that was twin turbo and made 700 rwhp...faaaast!

The M3 is an outstanding car. I want to trade in our 328 and get my wife the M3 convertable. I am sure she would not mind letting me drive it ever now and then.
