Very nice, I also riden motorcycles since I have been 16. I have gone a few years now and really miss going and rinding your all stressed out.
Looks great hope you have a nice weekend to take it out.
Y, I have been riding since I was 11. I got my motorcycle permit at 15 1/2, and rode my dads Kawasaki LTD 400 everywhere, before I even got my license. Back then, you just couldn't ride at night, or on the freeway, but could ride by yourself, not like a car. Since then, I always had a bike until I sold the Valkyrie in 2000. Well, looks sunny out, think I am going to shoot up the skyway.
Here it is in the fall.
Its been very hard living up here, with roads like this, and not having a bike.
In 1969 I was in the 6th grade, my dad was in the Air Force stationed at Altus AFB, OK. I think that was one of the first places they were training the pilots for the C5. Lived on base and literally blocks from the runway. What an awesome environment to grow up in!
OK, So I finally got pictures of my bike I bought about a month ago. I am posting, cuz I pick up my boat on saturday, and will probably do nothing but post about boating after!
I have put the pipes on this bike, sounds awesome. I also have a Cobra Fi2000R fuel controller in it for the EFI. I have a Patrick Racing Big Air Kit on order, and a new Corbin Solo seat with backrest, rear billet fender moulded license plate holder, Yamaha passing lights, and a couple other minor things. I will repost when I get them all on.
man... thats gorgeous. A V-star? (or as yamaha calls them, "Star motorcycles") Lots of chrome, fat seat and a huge twin. very nice... except for the license plate bracket.
