Thanks it is looking like TableRockResort at http://lakesideresort.net probably in Aug 09 due to July being a fully booked month normally. I talked to the resort owner tonight ans he will help see how we can pull it off. I will be meeting with him when I am down thee this August. See the web page for resort amenities. Tequilasun recommended this resort to me.

We stayed here last summer and its nice! Its a little pricier but not as expensive as Big Bear. This place is big! It could easily accomodate all the midwest Tigeowners. And you pass Silver Dollar City on the way to the resort.

Count me in. Like I stated earlier. I have two trips this year in the plans for Table Rock. From where I live in Iowa it takes me right at 8 hrs. Not a bad drive.

I know the Lauderdale chain is not the best lake ever but Reed's marine is on it. They may be down for doing something there.

The Chain of Lakes in IL offers just about anything you want to do. It gets really crowded though! It can also be shallow in spots. It's very close for Reed's though.

How about something closer to Indianapolis. Indy is pretty central for most Midwest folks. It's only 5 hrs from Chi-town. There is also the sister lakes in IN--never been there but heard they are nice.

If you can put something together on Table Rock, I'll go. (free rent) 10 hrs isn't too far if we're staying for a week especially without paying for a hotel.

Both lakes have their advantages and disadvantages.
Table Rock- Pros- Slalom courses, Closer to night life,
cons- More populated

Bull Shoals-Pros-Less populated, Parks
Cons- Less night life

I'd be in. We are moving back to Chicago later this year. My family has a lake house in Sister Lakes Michigan, its about 1 1/2 to 2hrs from Chicago depending. There are five lakes in the town but I don't think the event would work very good there as it is very populated and all of the lakes are surrounded with houses.

I'd be willing to drive about 10 hours from Chi-town but that would be about it. So as long as we can find a location within that radious I'd be there.

Check out Lake Winnebago in WI , its one of the largest inland lakes in the country.
I would definatly be down for a Tige reunion closer to home!!

When you visit Table rock and Bullsshoals please take pictures so we can all see them and help with the desicion making. Thanks for starting the ball rolling on this. Let us know if you need help along the way.

TRock is my home lake and KICKS ***!! Yes, it can be crowded but we always are able to find good water. And as a FYI, consider the ski course crap now, there is a huge amount of development happening in Little Cow now, they put in a 10 or 12 slip dock this year and there is a permit for another 10 or 12 slip, that has yet to go in. The crew that manages the course only hits it in the early am and late evening, mostly during the week. All the wallies think LC is the place to hang out. And that can really piss ya off!! This past summer wasn't too bad, but there were moments when we were not a very happy bunch.

Bull Shoals is a beautiful lake and really isn't a bad choice.


I'd LOVE to get together with other Tige Owners. I've been around them for a very long time and remember when they first came to TRock.

At Lakeside this is okay. Still Waters which is really nice has a no pet policy.

Correcction Stillwaterresort.com does allow pets at $7.00 a night. Cost a lot to pick up fertilizer.

I regret to inform all of you who possitively responded to the 2009 First Annual Reunion that for personal reasons I will not be able to host the event. It was something I was enjoying working on but issues arose that will not allow me to complete the project to the end. For that I apoligize. All of you have a wonderful 2008 and a 2009 and beyond on the water.
