As soon as I can I need to get an official count of people by family to see if we need more cabins so if you intend on coming send me your info. If you want to keep it private PM me for now. It is a 30 -45 minute ride into Branson if you are looking for other distractions etc. There are Tige Dealers about an 1.5 hour trip away. I'll get more info on that.

    Wow deja vu....

I admire your enthusiasm of inflating your post count but, here is a tip on the use of multi quote...

First press this button on the posts you would like to quote, it turns orange. Then after you selected all the posts press the Post Reply
And then all the selected posts will be all in the same post

We stayed here last summer and its nice! Its a little pricier but not as expensive as Big Bear. This place is big! It could easily accomodate all the midwest Tigeowners. And you pass Silver Dollar City on the way to the resort.

Still Waters Resort on Table Rock,

i'll check out still waters. It definetly strikes me as a hotel by the water. I will see if they allow pets and if they don't it is Lakeside. The Status on lakeside is as follows:

Count me in. Like I stated earlier. I have two trips this year in the plans for Table Rock. From where I live in Iowa it takes me right at 8 hrs. Not a bad drive.

The Chain of Lakes in IL offers just about anything you want to do. It gets really crowded though! It can also be shallow in spots. It's very close for Reed's though.

How about something closer to Indianapolis. Indy is pretty central for most Midwest folks. It's only 5 hrs from Chi-town. There is also the sister lakes in IN--never been there but heard they are nice.

If you can put something together on Table Rock, I'll go. (free rent) 10 hrs isn't too far if we're staying for a week especially without paying for a hotel.

Table Rock- Pros- Slalom courses, Closer to night life,
        cons- More populated

        Bull Shoals-Pros-Less populated, Parks
        Cons- Less night life

I might consider a run up to an event this close. I will try to stay in the loop.

I'd be willing to drive about 10 hours from Chi-town but that would be about it. So as long as we can find a location within that radious I'd be there.

And as a FYI, consider the ski course crap now, there is a huge amount of development happening in Little Cow now, they put in a 10 or 12 slip dock this year and there is a permit for another 10 or 12 slip, that has yet to go in. The crew that manages the course only hits it in the early am and late evening, mostly during the week. All the wallies think LC is the place to hang out. And that can really piss ya off!! This past summer wasn't too bad, but there were moments when we were not a very happy bunch.

Bull Shoals is a beautiful lake and really isn't a bad choice.

I'd LOVE to get together with other Tige Owners. I've been around them for a very long time and remember when they first came to TRock.

I will post some of the pics I have of TRock when I have a little more time. I better get back to work!

        EDIT-This is at Bull Shoals
The dock at Black Oak Resort

        In the dock

        Marina in the distance

        Bluff

Fish at a marina, the water in this picture does not resemble the water in the rest of the lake
Since I am going to both Lakes this year I will submit freshh pictures in Aug

I'm in for attending. Not gonna stay at the resort though. You can count on me for 4 people where you may need a head count for catering/events/ whatever.
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

Correction they renumbered the units so now we will be using unit 1.

Is anyone who is considering going also planning on bringing a pet dog?

At Lakeside this is okay. Still Waters which is really nice has a no pet policy.

I am bringinging my dogs. Does any one else care about animals?

Does everyone want to stay at same resort if possible?

Correcction Stillwaterresort.com does allow pets at $7.00 a night. Cost a lot to pick up fertilizer.

Note: When confirming your attendance please PM Me and tell me how many people, a cabin preference, and if you will be bringing your boat and the length and width

Midwestern Tige Owners First Annual Reunion in 2009

I regret to inform all of you who possitively responded to the 2009 First Annual Reunion that for personal reasons I will not be able to host the event. It was something I was enjoying working on but issues arose that will not allow me to complete the project to the end. For that I apoligize. All of you have a wonderful 2008 and a 2009 and beyond on the water.
