This lead to quetios. Are you all looking for bigClean Lakes that you may have to drive say up to 12 hours to or would you rather go to shallow muddy murky seaweed lakes typical of southern Wisconsin. Once you go to the southern ozarks nothing in southern Wisconsin compares.

I will make a decision on the lake in the next day or so. Tige Owners who are interested in either BullShoals or TableRock Lake please send me a PM if you are interested in going and which Lake is your preference. The resort I reccomend on Bullshoals is BlackOak resort while the one on Table Rock is LakeSide Resort which has had a load of refurbishment over the last year and a half. I have described the upsides of both lakes. First of all TableRock you can walk down to your dock. IMO Bullshoals has nicer cabins but a restricted view of the lake and like most resorts you have to either drive down to the docks or take a long walk.
Both lakes are around 10 hours away from Chicago suburbs depending how long you take for gas stops and so on. We normally leave on Friday after 5 pm and stop in Rolla, MO and make the rest of the trip the next morning. That way we feel fresh on Saturday when we check in and can spend some time on the water on Saturday. On the way home we drive straight thru.
Please send me a PM where you would like to go and you resort preference by next Friday so I can ask questions of Tige and the local dealer and get some things going. Also suggest preferred dates in June,July, or August 2009.
Thanks.Last edited by tessa; 01-24-2008, 04:10 AM.

I need a rough count to determine if the resort I have in mind would work.
Do you want a ritzy expensive reort like BIg Bear (a Bass Pro Shope Property at over 200 a night) or an older lake side resort that I hope to get current pictures of next week.
