    Trying to get to know everyone...

    I posted a thread a week or so ago telling everyone i'm new to the boards... i can already tell i'm in with a good bunch of guys.. but i would like to know whats everyone do as far as jobs.. you know things like that.. hobbies other then going to the lake...

    like i work on a drilling rig for Helmerich & payne Drilling company.. everyone thinks this is a bad job... but its not at all. the money is awesome... i put in some long hours but it makes up for it on my days off... i work7 days on 7 off.. so i get a full week to go to the lake... or in the winter months sit around the house ad be lazy... when in the off months of lake season.. i like to ride quads.. i have a yamaha yfz 450.. so when the river is down low i like to hit the sand... other then that the off months is my wifes... we kinda do what she wants to do...

    there is a thread on here already that has pics of most of us and what we do for a living. I can't find the damn thread for anything though. Maybe somebody on here will recall the thread title.

    In case they don't find it, I'll go 1st:
    I'm a Dolphin waxer at Sea World. I ensure the dolphins have a nice fresh coat of carnuba wax before every performance. I pull a lot of chicks w/ the dolphins! They dig 'em.






    ok, maybe I'm FOS....someone will dig up that thread!
    Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

          Welcome, somewhere on this site I think we did that along with pictures. Do a search and report back.

          I was born in OK City, moved to Abilene TX when I was 6 months old. I lived in Altus, Ok when I was in 4th, 5th & 6th grade (late 60's). My dad was in the Air Force.

          I've lived in Oregon since. I live 20 minutes west of Portland and an hour from the coast. I've been married for 27 years, 3 kids. Well, they are now 3 very fine young men. They like to boat & spend time with us. My wife & I have good jobs working for 2 different cities. I'm an Operations Manager for a town of 10,000 people and my wife reads water & electric meters for a city where we live.

          We try to get 100 to 150 hours a year on our boat. We live about 10 minutes from our local lake. There's a few Tige owners kinda close to me, have met one in person, that's Carter 13 he lives about 30 minutes away. Sparky is an hour away.

            Welcome the site. We have a lot of useful stuff and if you looking the right areas a bunch of silly stuff all depending on how you look at it.

            As for ur question I am just a student in college working towards pre med

              Welcome to the site you have a lot of knowledge and professional people on the site and can get a lot of help with more than boats here. It is a great site.

                I have an identity issue! I am a Malibu owner stuck on a Tige Board.

                I am a Corporate Controller for a REIT.

                I am also trying to open the worlds first electrical eel petting zoo.

                    In all seriousness I am full of knowledge when it comes to boats especially Tiges. If you have a problem with Perfect Pass I could probably help.

                    I am a student as well, sophomore in high school. I am planning on going into engineering but not really sure what area.
