Just curious, does any one else have a problem with their stereo's periodically shutting off for a few minutes and then magically turning back on? I assume it is because the system gets too hot. If I remember, I open the seats once in a while to let in a little air flow. Is this typical? Is there any other solution?

all my fans have amps and it has helped the problems out a lot. I have sense installed some moving air via vans and now my issue is not a problem. My system is a bit more extreme then yours, but it's all the same issues.
Lots of info on this thread, and chpthril is one of the best on stereo questions. Him and phil helped me figure our a few problems on my stereo as well.Originally posted by G-MONEYIt hurts me to say it but go OU but only for this weekend!!!!
