Midwest Tornadoes... Shout Out to Jason B...

Hey buddy there were killer twisters in your area today? Everything OK? Give us an all clear...

This is the Carnage that was left behind... I'm glad this isn't a Tige but I feel for this dude anyway... I'm sure it wasn't parked in the front yard when he left for work this morning...

Yup. Not good. Actually looked out my passenger window while sitting at a light and saw the funnel cloud.
5 houses down the road are roofless (according to the neighborhood gossip) Haven't heard if anyone is hurt yet, but my wife is out checking it out right now since the storms have stopped.

The ironic part is my buddy and I both left work early and rushed home to put the fabric cover on my portable garage I bought to hold the boat. Could you imagine if I had gotten it finished!!?? I'd be picking pieces of metal pipe out of my neighbor's house
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

Sheesh! I'm starting to think maybe Al Gore has a few things right...

I spoke with a few friends and relatives as well as a couple people from the Kenosha News (sad to say I worked there for 5 years before I moved out to AZ) and there were only minor injuries reported so far and no one has been confirmed dead but it's still early. Hopefully everybody will be o.k.

Spoke with a friend who drove over downed power lines to get to her son... I told her never to do that again and she didn't even realize how dangerous it was...

Glad to hear you are well and the boat is all good...

            Hey Jason,
I am glad you are ok up there. 60 miles south of you we still have watches up till 1 am. Hell at 70 degrees something is gonna happen. Bad news is my 20V is in Delavan in a steel building which is real suseptible to wind damage so we ride out the evening watching 47 miles from where I live. Hopefully the severe strorm watches are over in you area and miss Delavan.

So far I'm being told the biggest damage was right by me. I haven't heard of any damage in Delevan yet. I talked to my friend out that way and he said all was good by him. I think your baby will be ok, you dodged the bullet. How bad would that be--having a totalled boat before you even get it wet.
On the bright side though, Lunchbox could walk you through the process of getting a new IMPROVED boat.

Thanks for the good news about Delavan. I insured the boat and traler for wat I paid and after rethinking the issue tonight I may want to up that figure. I am thinkink 7-20% higher than what it is if the policy does not cover replacement cost. Time to call the agent.

Word... I did kind of make out on the deal though... But I did lose most of the fall riding season... so it's kind of a wash either way... Although I wouldn't wish it upon anyone...

we're under a tornado warning. its 10:22; they've been going on for about 4 hrs, lotsa rain, and no sign of letting up. the infamous I44 coridor. ohhhh hail just started, taking cover.

whew, 6 houses destroyed just a few miles from me. one killed about 15 miles north of me. I've been watching spring storms my whole life, and have never seen so many linked storms.

baseball sized hail, straight line winds that take down houses, and tornados too.
