    Tower finish

Has anyone out there refinished a tower? I'm looking at changing the color of mine, and I'm wondering how much work I'm getting myself into.

If you have a nice sand blaster you can strip it fairly quickly and without any manual labor. If you pay to have it blasted you'll wish you just bought a blaster yourself. You can't powdercoat it yourself unless you have access to a VERY large oven to bake it in. (you can't use a home oven even if it would fit, once the materials have been baked in an oven you can never use it for food again)

I would do it--what else do you have to do during the winter???
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

I would say leave it as is and put that $$$ towards a new tower next off season.

Well, other than attempting to pass the bar exam, my winter is wide open. A new tower may be in the works in a year or so though. This one may be a pain to fold, and it needs to get under a canopy.

I've examined a few, after 3 or 4, they all look the same

If the bar exam consists of being able to stay on a barstool...I could pass no problem!
