I had mentioned this in another thread and said I would post a picture. Noticed this on the way back to the marina after the cold water reunion in Oct. The weld on the port side of my tower cracked. Not sure if it had to do with the ghetto clamp for the speakers (not my handiwork) or the board rack on that side vibrating. I do take the tower down after each trip to fit it in the garage. I'm planning on having someone local just reweld it for me and hope it doesn't happen again. Anyone ever heard of this happening before?

It looks like it has rotated about 1/8 " I wonder if there was tension on that joint.
After you get it fixed, might want to loosen all the set screws and ride around the lake for a few, and then tighten everything up. This may allow the tower to "settle" a little.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

I've not seen that before, but I would call Monster. I can't speak for them, but they've really stood behind everything I've purchased from them.
They'll probably want to see what broke so they can improve on their design.
As for that clamp, it is in a really bad location and probably contributed to excessive torque. You might want to consider moving it if that's possible.Cursed by a fortune cookie: "Your principles mean more to you than any money or success."

take the 'neck clamp off, and get a good pic. Phone Monster, ask for Brad, and see if you can e-mail the pic to him. I bet they will take care of it for you. It's not an optical illusion.
It just looks like one.....

You might want to look at their board racks if you're having a problem with yours. Also, their tower speakers are pretty reasonable.Honey I'm home!

Here's my experience with Monster I shared a little while ago when they sent me two new board racks no questions asked or pictures required. I had chrome ones that all the chrome was peeling off of. The guy I dealt with was Chris, I can't speak highly enough about those guys.
