I would have to 4th or 5th the great service I have received at Tige Watersports. I called Daniel just to let him know I scheduled my appointment and same as Tkuzma he offered to take it for me. These are things that you shouldnt have to expect although they are willing to do it.

If dont know about anyone else, but everytime I go to the lake I see more Tige's than any other brand and that speaks volume. Especially for the guys in Corona. The more boats you sell the more you have to service. Flying Tiger I understand your frustration, but are you being too picky? If you think you have your fair share of problems with your Tige or Dealer cruise the Mastercraft, Nautique or Malibu owners websites.

The other reason I chose Tige is because of the staff at Tige Watersports, I heard nothing but good things compared to some of the others where you should be happy you bought this brand sort of attitude or having your boat sit for a week at the dealer for a simple oil change. Hopefully all your issues can be addressed or corrected so you can be completely satisfied for purchasing a Tige in Corona.

      Maybe I am picky.

We had lots of frustrations with our radio.
After several visits to correct it,, (a 100 mile drive for us), I was finally able to get their radio guy to take a look at it, but with animosity from the service writer, who I think is no longer there.

The radio guy asked me: "who did this installation?" "It wasn't me"
      "Was it done here?".
The radio was completely wired wrong, and interior hardware surrounding it was rusting pretty bad (I replaced the rusted parts with stainless at my own expense).

So finally, after several visits, the radio was re wired, and correctly installed. I bought the radio new with the boat at Tige'.

I have no paper trail on most of this work because I just dropped in,, I just finally kept driving into the dealer and ask for some more immediate help after only being able to secure an appointment months away, when summer is over.

I had no choice, what would you do?

We spent most of our first year at the river with our new Tige' with no sound system ( we have sat radio too), plus the tower speakers duct taped to the tower because they came loose and tightening them was no cure (embarassing), and the innital installation was bad, and we couldn't get an appointment until boating season was over.

Yea, I may be a bit picky,, but I spent a lot of money, and some of the installs and afterservice sucked.
I kept my cool,, but still I had to repeatly return untill I realized Chris was the guy to go to,, and I got a little worked up.

I don't like going over the employees head or the service managers head to the boss,, I was trying to do it right,, and work with the employees using the system correctly.

The gluing of the interior tear takes the cake. It really looks bad, and is coming apart again, and stuff like this and other unresolved problems gets one frustrated.

But I've apoligized to everyone at the dealer I came in contac with,, and I wasn't that bad,, and life is good, and my Tige' is awsum, and I recomend Tige' to the massive countless people that wade up to or walk up to us to talk about it.

        Let me add:

My relationship with Tige is now great.
I can simply phone Mike the service writer, and he has a solution for my problems, and orders my stuff promptly,,
I attribute any problems I had beause of Phenominal growth and a flood of customers that overwhelmed Tige of Corona.

It's hard to realize that when you're frustrated.

I've walked into the service shop when the service manage is upside down in a boat, fixing a Velvet drive,, has lots of other more serious problems yet to be dealt with, and he has to deal with customers that are far bigger A holes than me,, plus his own lifes hassles, employee issues ect, and there I am with a petty issue.

They were overwhelmed,, and have taken steps to correct it,, and all is well.

They have always been better than any other boat dealer I've dealt with,, and I've owned 11 new boats.

See you all at the reunion.

            My Tige Dealer

My Tige dealer in Oregon has been the best. They have some kind of commitment to Tige or themselves that as long as the part is here they will only have your boat for a day. Mine has never sit there more then 24 hours unless I forgot to tell them something I wanted done. Thanks again Stayton Motor Sports !!!

I don't know what you're doing different but I can't stand Tige' in Corona. Every single issue I've ever had with my boat, and I've had a lot, they have charged me for EVERYTHING! They even wanted 300+ dollars for a new glovebox lid, which broke the first week I had the boat, warranty perhaps? Nope, shell out 300! I have given up on them and don't even bother driving the 2.5 hour round trip to Corona. I haven't been in there in a couple years so perhaps they have got better on the customer service side but I wouldn't care to test them out.

The dealer should be as much a part of the boat decision as the boat mfgr. Tige Precision Boats in Arizona is #1 in service. I don't consider my dealer or his staff as anything but my friends. Service never takes more than a day and they work hard to resolve even the most minor problems. I get a kick out of seeing MC and other brands getting service there.

I'll second this one. This dealer and their customer service is why we ended up buying a Tige. They put a reverse arch tower on our old runabout but measured slightly incorrectly. When the tower was installed, it was not possible to open the engine compartment hatch any more than about 4 inches. They ate the cost of our custom built tower (roughly $2000) and patched the holes, no questions asked. When it came time to look for a new boat, this was the first (and as it turns out only) dealer we talked to. Terry, Kevin, and Betsy have been wonderful to work with, and the guys in service are awesome as well. I can't say enough good things about the way we've been treated there.
