Anyone have recommendations on brands of tower lights and tower speakers. I am looking at mako light/speaker combos vs more inexpensive liquid audio but would consider others. Prices on web vary widely.

Have you considered making your own? It's not something everyone has the resources to do, but if your interested here's a link to a very good website.

I don't know what brand mine are, two are home made that I bought from a guy on ebay, they are pretty nice, and the other two i think are soundstream. I haven't hooked them up yet, but will be soon. I like them they are nice, and loud on the home systemOriginally posted by G-MONEYIt hurts me to say it but go OU but only for this weekend!!!!

Thanks for the input
I appreciate the replies and different options. I was not aware of samson which now adds another option with those slick mounts. I don't have the time to deal with self build but was impressed with white JBL cans.
Other sites have mentioned many issues with battery run down and the need to upgrade the alternator if you do lights, amps, and tower speakers (at least i have dual batteries). They also mention the lack of effectiveness of the 55w lights in terms of night driving vs. docking - Has anyone experienced this yet ??
Some think the titans throw the most light but I have not seen it in person.
Thanks for the input

Yes the box for the subs is sealed. It was built to the specs of the speakers. They bump pretty hard and the sound travels well to the rider from the entire system.
4 JBL 180 watt tower speakers w/ 600 watt amp
4 Clarion speakers in the boat running off the head unit
2 12in Rockford Fosgate Subs w/ 1400 watt amp
I run dual batteries with my factory alternator. No Problems What So Ever!!

check out www.loudliquid.com they make some good tower speaker holders and you can get them empty, w/speakers and/or lights. the have some of the different mount options on pixs in thier site. Pretty comparable in price to the others on the market and you can get them to match your boat.
