    Hotboat.com no more,,

    FYI:
The site has changed ownership and focus and will soon be pay to play.
The general forum population has moved to:
    www.riverdavesplace.com
No flamers or haters, and no porn or links to.

And, as I convince the WB crowd what the best boat is, they'll be here too.

HB was a teriffic site for years.
Well moderated, well run, go to it for great depth info on anything boating.

Then the flaming, haters,, and the death threats.
A simple difference of opinion could end up on the launch ramp in fists, and often did.

Rarely any talk of boating,, just calling your loved ones names.

Soo,, finally it's sold and changed.

I had been on that site for years but the Sandbar was always a place of random stuff. I have many good years on that site but like most good things they must come to and end.

            Is printed media dying?
I see magazines folding, and newspapers nothing like they once were.

But,,, I think the WSJ just sold for a bundle.

Is the pulp press becoming a thing of the past?

River Dave is a great wealth of knowledge. When WW and Hotboats had the issues about the Bonecrusher pushing a HUGE wake into the dock, he steped onboard and really moderated the entire thing very well. He has also provided some excellent feedback to boat owners and suggestion on WW.
