to be exact it was 30" on the bottom and 32 on the top, so I when for the smaller of the two since the sacks do expend a little when full.

If you look on page 6 of this thread chpthril also measure his 22Ve and it was around 31".

Did you take the panel that separates the back compartment to the side compartment? If so it might be possible to get a few inches there.

That panel is protecting the gas hose of both sides of the boat

I guess it is right, it just seems like it would be more than that. I will keep checking in on this thread to see what the cost is for the custom sac, thanks for doing the measuring and checking on everything!

I thinks it's best to leave that panel in place. 1K of water pushing on the fuel filler neck and hose not good

I might just cut the very end to make the 11" high. It still protects the fuel filler neck and hose.

Sorry for my ignorance, the two valves on top is to vent and fill, and the bottom valve to empty?

The first image is the measurements with the Cooler still in place. The second image is the measurement without the cooler, this bigger sack will always fit on the left side of the boat.

There is a wood panel on both sides that will need to be cut. It goes in a angle to about 6 " from the floor to separate the back compartment to the side compartments.

I will send the measurements to flyHigh for a estimation.

Does anyone know the best place to put the valves?

Here are the measurements and calculated lbs:
Based on your measurements, I think we can come up with a single sac that will work in both sides of the 22Ve and RZ2 (with cooler removed) and 1 for the starboard side of RZ2 (with cooler left in)

How tight a fit is the 86" total length? On the RZ, is it 21" wide under the seats also? On the Ve, it is narrower under the seats then it is in the locker. @ 20", it will be bunched up under the seats, but fill out in the locker.

I think It is the same on the RZ as far as the width on the sides.

As far as the length without cooler, I think we can get close to 90". It is hard to tell, I just measure on the outside since i still have the cooler, and I left a few inches shorter just to be safe. When I tried to go under the cooler I think it went farther than the cooler to where the cup holders are.

Let's get a count to see how many we need in this order. Than we'll be able to bargain with FlyHigh.

                        I am in.

I would be interested in one or 2 for the RZ2 (mine has the factory ballast) So I am not sure if that measurement ended up in the equation.

                            But let me know.

                            Thanks

Got the quote back from flyHigh.

They said that it will be around $430 for each fat sack, for all the combinations I gave them.

I don't know if it will get any cheaper for a bulk order, so far only 3 peeps that want to order total 6 fat sacks. We might get cheaper if we get more in the order.
