Hey eksilva i saw the large picture of your boat earlier in the thread and was wondering what brand trailer you have, it loks great and we are looking around at different trailers for our inventory boats, we tried a load of Prestige trailers ann they look great, but the boats sit a little to high....

eksilva and I both have the same trailer. It's an Illusion trailer by EZ Loader. They are amazing trailers! 4 wheel disc brakes, 4 wheel independent suspension, swing out tongue, full LED lighting, electric reverse lockout, 20" wheels with a 20" spare. If you want more info on them, try calling Bill or Corey at Waterski Specialty in Denver 303-430-0202.

I was going to go with a standard trailer and they talked me into this one instead and I absolutely love it! The only downside is the boats sit very high! I have a 12' door on my storage unit and the tower barely fits under it with about 2" of clearance. With the tower down the boat will not fit under a standard 7' door either.

I actually like my boat sitting a little high. It gives more ground clearance and I have to back it over the sidewalk curb to be able to put it down the side of my house. If the trailer was any lower I would not be able to do that. I have a metal craft and to this day I have had no issues. The trailer is three years old now. I service the wheel bearings, Brakes, and seals at the start of each year and just use it. However the Illusion EZ Loader trailers are very nice.

Very nice boat set up. I do not think you will have any problems selling that set up. It looks great.

yeah thats the problem we are running into as well....heck i have a couple customers that are having a hard time getting it inside a 8' door....we will probably end up offering a choice of a few different trailers but we like having the bling factor in the showroom obvioulsy.....thanks for the quick response....i will have bossman check into the illusion....

I forgot 1 more thing on the Illusion trailer - oil bath hubs... What's funny is the trailer was only (only?) $1,500 more than a standard trailer - small price to pay for towing bliss! The first time you take the boat around a corner without having to go out wide, you get a strange feeling like "wow, did it really just go around that corner like that?".

Like Tim said we have the same trailer, heck, we have almost the same exact boat.

One other difference that I notice is that for being so high I am a little more careful turning as I get off the freeway. It fells a little more unstable as you take turns at higher speeds. Have you notice that Tim? Or it is just me being paranoid?

Check out DHM trailers, I know more and more Tige dealers are now offering them. I love mine, Folded will fit through a 8 foot door.

that DHM does look cool, i love the retractible tie downs are an awesome feature that more companies should incorporate....LED lighting seems to be standard these days on anything that isnt entry level....swing tounges are a must have also....

I have a DHM trailer and I really like it. Just have to go out and buy the LED's for it now.

Zero problems with it so far.

With a Samson tower you can fit through a 7' door on the Illusion trailer, the Tige Tower is just too tall even when collapsed because of the point at where it folds. Illusion also has the retractable tie downs like the DHM...I think all mfr's should put those on!

I have a slide-out toungue. It's a PITA. It's nice having it since I could not close my garage door otherwise, but using it is more of a deal than with the swing-aways.
If you have a choice--always offer the swing away over the slide out. My

One more thing to consider is the jack mount. I have a Prestige trailer and my jack was worn out. I could not find the exact size mounting bracket on ANY of the jacks. I looked for a month, I even called Prestige (no help at all!). Now I have one of those ugly brackets that go around the frame and an unused metal plate welded near it. Sucks!! My point is; if you're going to put that much effort into making sure you meet the needs of your customers then take the time to ensure thier mounting brackets are universal and that the buyer will be able to get a new jack to fit! It's just a matter of asking 1 more question.
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

I finally when to the storage place to measure the RZ2.

The first image is the measurements with the Cooler still in place. The second image is the measurement without the cooler, this bigger sack will always fit on the left side of the boat.

There is a wood panel on both sides that will need to be cut. It goes in a angle to about 6 " from the floor to separate the back compartment to the side compartments.

I will send the measurements to flyHigh for a estimation.

Does anyone know the best place to put the valves?

Here are the measurements and calculated lbs:

Are you sure it's only 30" long? I cram both of my v-drive sacs on the port side and get them both almost full and they are 42" long. 30" seems too small to me.
