Yes, but I you can put then in the same location as the 08's which is right below the Speed-Set panel.

Long story short....I had one piss all over me at the boat show when a guy sat down and hit the switch with his knee. I was standing right at the drain port

LOL, I am not sure that I would have admitted to that. You must already be starting your weekend CHP and are feeling good.

Do any of you know how to do the winterization?

I payed $230 to winterize my boat this year, I know it got to be something simple as to remove water from the system.

Anyone know a procedure on how to do it correctly?

Can some of the fat sack be hidden behind the side panels to save storage space?

One all the gear, tube, surfboard, wakeboards, skis, life jackets, etc are in the boat I would like to keep the space I have for storage.

You could go with a thinner/longer sac that would extend up under the seats and then build a removable false floor over top.

You could go with a set of 20V hard tanks.

May be able to install the factory RZ/Ve transom hard tanks, but would need to measure the height between the floor and the transom storage bins. This would also require the moving of the batts and TAPS motor to the storage lockers and building an enclosure.

After we build the ballast system in my boat I'm going to try and design/build a movable shelf for when then the sacs are full and empty so I can still utilize the storage space with out worrying about tearing the sacks.

That is a great idea. When are you starting on your boat? Let me know how it turns out. Would love to see the pictures when you finish.

I bet your dealer can get some carpet from the factory to cover the false floor. I think the the hard tanks (only about 8" high) or the long/narrow sacs would be the best way to go rather then the factory hard tanks. It's doable and a lot of work, but I did see one attempt go south on an 07 22Ve.

Factory was using 2 diff depth storage bins in early 07 (deeper on boats ordered w/out ballast) and the hard tanks where about 1" too tall to fit.

Lot of work involved in moving batteries, TAPS motors, building boxes, etc

The 20V hard tanks will fit in the storage locker and be just the same as the false floor idea. Only loose a little storage space but no fear of piling gear into the lockers. The 20V hard tanks are carpet covered rectangle tanks and lay in the floor of the 20v's and not across the transom like the RZ/Ve boats. No matter what way you go, the plumbing will be the same.

This would give you the equivalent (maybe a little more weight) of factory ballast, but would still need to toss another sac in to get a good surf wake.

I wish I could get out there to help, but I'm on the right coats they are on the wrong, uh i mean, left coast.

What kind of girly sacks are you planning on using?

The fly high sacs are hard to tear unless you push a sharp bolt into them. I doubt that you would ever have a problem with them except for the sharp bolts underneath the seats.
