Good find G-Money! I think Tall and OWN did something like that at Lake Powell without the jumps.
The post is on here somewhere?

Talltigeguy had some pics of a ramp that his group built on Lake Powell on another thread.

I think this summer we are going to take the scouts again. I have a feeling that we are going to get a little better lip going at the bottom of the ramp. Using the boogie board is a good idea too, because it is very difficult to get all of the rocks, sticks and debris out of the sand. It is also much harder than you would think to make the sand flat.

Although I did end up with back surgery about 6 weeks after that. Hmmmm.

Sounds like a blast, but I think I would refrain from adding the PWC towing piece, just use gravity. When its your own family and close friends its one thing. When I was younger, I learned my lesson taking out kids from the church youth group tubing. I would get a bit carried away with a few of the crazier boys, and some of the parents would get pretty concerned when they came back and saw the videos. One year, a girl barely went over a bump, and hit her head with her knee. After camp, she complained of migraines, and kept getting tests. The youth pastor took the brunt of the blowback, but I felt bad. The weird thing is, I didn't pull her hard at all, she just hit a weird bump. Happy ending was that the tests found some kind of tumor or something, I don't remember, and she needed brain surgery. If it wasn't for the bump on the head, they may not have found it in time. Anyway, I never go too nuts with other peoples kids anymore. Now, with my kids, thats different!

Where we had the reunion this year had a perfect little slide already cut out!

Look for it right in front of the yellow boat on the far side there.

We will just have to make sure there is a doctor on scene.

Guys do this at "Disneyland" just below the Sandbar. There is an area you can idle back to takes about 10 mins and there are some huge white sand hills. Guys bring out the industrial plastic tarps from Home Depot and a gas powered water pump and run it to the top. They don't any skate ramps like those guys but it makes a great fast slip and slide. We have done the mini version at Park Moabi with the tarp and water hoses the little guys love it. The guys in that video are insane with the flips and sick air they are getting
