Tige reunion event - Lake Folsom California

So guys since no-one here in California is planning any Tige events I think Im going to make one myself. Not to sure about the spot just yet(water levels permitting) but Im going to make this happen. I have been wanting to do a wakeboarding comp event for some time now. Why not make it a tige event. I was hoping to get Tige and some other sponsors involed to make this happen. Here are just a few ideas Im thinking about:

Tige boat show
Music concert on the water
Food, bbq, sushi, mexican, all types
best looking Tige boat contest
wakeboaring event competition (w/ pro riders)
ski competition
wakeboard event (non pro riders, locals ect..)
camping
more to be announced...

Im thinking end of June or beginning of July. I really want to do this at lake Folsom but I will keep my options open considering the water levels this year.
I have some sponsors in mind but I will need some more help. I want to do this big. So If you guys have any info I would be more than happy to hear your ideas. This will be an event for everyone. It would be really cool if some of you out of state guys would come out and join us. We all talk to each other so much on here i think we would all have a reall kick a$$ time.

So I will get allot closer to getting this thing rolling asap. I will keep you all informed on how its going. One cool thing about Lake Folsom is that they have camp grounds so we could all camp out and make this a 2 day event. Just to let you guys know Im this line of work already and have allot of hooks for planning and doing events. I think we can all make this something worth doing. Keep the Tige family together!

Yes I would not want any conflict ions with any other events. If you guys would please post upcoming dates so I can lock down a date myself. I have a meeting with Lake Folsom management in a few weeks to talk about procedures regarding this event. There is so much to do from now to then. Though I would really like as many Tige owners to try and make it out to California for this event.

Don't forget the local Tige boat shop and any other Tige boat shop. There is a lot more people out there that do not come onto this website that I am sure would make this event very large.

p.s. You might want to talk with Surfdad also. He might be able to arrange an demo or event at that time also.

I've got to find out where that is? We usually go to Lake Powell that week. maybe we'll have to divert northward?

I would be interested in seeing how that goes. I have dreamt of doing a wakeboard competition here, but I think that there is a lot more to it than I understand. I spoke briefly to someone who has done it before and there are a number of hoops to jump through if you want a sanctioned event. What about liability during a wakeboard competition?

We will seriously look at coming out if we can work it in. We are only a few weeks away from officially announcing our Southeast Reunion on June 21st (P.S. it's open to any Tige owner). So keep us posted

You and I are on the same thought train. I just was not making any announcements yet. I already have the DJ set up if I need him. I am going on the 19th to check out lakes above the Fresno area as I thought that would be a good central point for all and for the out of stater's there is an airport close by with in an hour from any of there lakes. Count me in I will help out and maybe we should talk on the Phone TIGEBLUE so we can coordinate our efforts into one event instead of separate events. I say go for it.
