Ok so it's not as bad as last time... I went over to the storage unit after the rain we had this weekend and this is what I found... I had to go home and get some plastic cups and start bailing... I need to get something to prop that up...
My 24ve came with a pole and straps that is spacificaly to prevent that. As I recall it has a white rubber cap on one end and a black plastic 6" dia. plate on the other end with 4 straps connected to it. Ithought it was part of the cover package. If you don't have it you might check with your dealer.
A wet dry vac will suck that out quickly, or better yet, use a tsunami pump. When I stored my boat outside I stuck a piece of plywood in that type of spot and elevated it a little, that way it wouldn't sink down and puddle up, it would roll off to the sides and over the side.

I modified the one i had made to go all the way to the windshield, works much better at keeping the cover snug without any sags at all. Here's a shot before i glued it all up.

Your boat should of came with cover support poles that prohibit water from collecting like that. I would ask your dealer for some. There is one for the front and one for the rear. The straps hook on to the front bow handles and the rear tower legs or cleats. They create a "tent" like appearance on the cover once they are erected.
