The other prob, everyone sells the same stuff: L/F, Obrian, CWB, Hyperlite :(

*EDIT* Our only board store, Wallerbears [url
http://www.wallerbears.com/mcmullen.html may carry the hyperlite wakesurfs.

That kinda sucks, See if you can find a Inland dealer close to you, according to Lance, all dealers are required to have 1 of each of the boards they make for demo in the store.

Thanks everyone. I was on vacation last wk and have to work today. Haven't had any time to look at the posts until now.

Thanks Chptril. I know where they are. I will check it out and I may PM you later. I don't think she has done anything yet.

Thats not the new one, you can tell by the round nose. The new yellow loogey, the 2007.5, has a pointed nose.

Of all those, I like the inlands best for a few reasons. 1. They work well, and seem the most like SURF boards to me. 2. They have 3 boards that pretty much fit any rider, if you have all 3. 3. the quality of construction. These boards are LIGHT, and yet very strong and durable due to the epoxy construction they use. Makes them a bit more pricey, but feels like they are going to last. The cybershapes, for instance, is already falling apart. 4. These boards LOOK bitchen in your racks, with the different colors and the cool logo, I love em. 5. I met the guys from inland and really liked them. I could relate to them and they were really nice to my boy answering questions. I still chat with lance on occasion about boards and stuff via email.

Phew. That should give you a good overview. Put that on a sticky somewhere.
Ragboy,
Thanks for the effort put into this post. I'm looking for a board this winter and the advice will come in handy.

Here is what I have come up w/ so far. The Inland Surfer "Yellow Loogey" and "Red Tide" for $339.00 on www.boardersmall.com. I would also consider the CWB Tsunami for $329.99. These are in my price range right now. The Yellow Loogey says up to 200lbs which I am 185lbs. The Red Tide is for bigger riders and I rode the CWB Tsunami already. Which of these 3 would be best?
Thanks

I would say the blue lake over the red tide or the loogey. The loogey is more of a performance board, and designed for a larger wake. With a 21I, and at 185, I am guessing you will need a bit bigger board. I would go for the blue lake and/or the red tide, but probably best the blue lake. Unless your 21I makes a giant surf wake.

Not really sure what kind of wake I will have yet. I haven't added any ballast yet. That will be the next thing to look at. I like to ski, but at 45 it takes a couple of days to get over the soreness sometimes. I just started wakeboarding and wakesurfing last year, I really liked the surfing. I will look at that board also.
Thanks

Here's a nifty little chart for you.

http://www.inlandsurfer.com/files/RiderChart.pdf

See how wake size is accounted for? Being able to free ride is a factor of your weight, how the board floats you, AND the size of your wake. The best thing for you to do is find someone to demo the 2 boards on YOUR boat, when you have your setup. Otherwise, I think I would be safe and get the blue lake. The loogey is really designed more for the bigger wake from the V-Drive.

Thanks Ragboy. The only problem w/ the blue lake is the price. We agree to lower our price on each other this Christmas. We just got back from vacation. I may want to wait till spring until I can test ride one, then the price won't be an issue. The only thing is that is all I asked for this year so far.

We had this. Several pros at worlds LOVE this board. Serious airs and spins. But I don't like skim boards, over surf. We just had a limited edition one, so it looked diff, but same board.
