Any of you guys ever do any boarding/skiing in Washington State? Just looking to find a few nice lakes to head down to next spring and summer that are not too far of a drive from Vancouver, BC. Ones that have property available on them would be even better.

Is Lake Chelan to far? I am in the process of working a 1700 acre deal, developement and golf course, right on the lake. It is also maybe five years out, but I will have a place there and it's a great summer destination for a boater. I don't know much about other Washington lakes, but I am learning lots about this one. Good luck in the search. My dad always said "Stupid Hurts". He's yet to be proven wrong, but for some reason I keep trying.

All of these lakes are great party/boating places.
My opinions for skiing:
East
Banks Lake - A+
Columbia River:
Lake Roosevelt - A
Crescent Bar - A
Lake Entiat - A
Lincoln Rock - B+
Lake Chelan - C (gets crowded, plus drift wood)
Blue, Park, Alta lakes - B (small)
West
Lake Washington - C (except prior to sunrise - B)
Lake Samamish - B+ (gets crowded)
Last season's time on water: Banks - 60%, Crescent Bar - 20%, Washington - 20%Last edited by MRMoffat1; 12-01-2007, 10:50 PM.
