Y, it comes with wireless FM, which you can turn off, and is the WORST method. It has the mini 1/8 plug out, but no cables for it.

Somehow I read that to mean 3 feet. Thanks for the careful proofreading! Now we just see if we got something different than Ragboy, and actually get the cables.

I ran a 20 foot aux to mini around from under the glovebox, around the bow to the under the driver dash. Going from the hole under the glovebox to under the driver is getting pretty full of cables for me with the PAC-1's and the ballast wiring. I have had the HK for a while, just never a permanent mount. Hopefully this winter I will do it right and eliminate the double sided tape stuff.
I will shove them through with the LC1's, most likely. My ballast wiring loops around the front.

boats of nevada installed one of these on my boat at the first of the summer and it worked good all summer and i loved it, but this fall it quit working right. It is stuck in fast forward mode. It is on a continuous jump to the next song. Its not my ipod cause it works fine everywhere else. I have tried checking all connections but haven't found the problem yet.

I picked one up, but I will be using it in my car. My stereo is right next to the steering wheel and I have a direct iPod connection, not through AUX.

Thanks Razz for the heads up and for the direct link!

Picked up an extra for a Christmas gift!

I think BON quoted me $400 for one (it was the new color one this summer), and if it quit working after a few months, I would be disappointed. If this one works for 4 months, I will still consider it money reasonably well spent.

If you do not have an external CD player it will work but you will need to make an aux input for the HU. Do a search for xmd1 on this site. I think someone had posted a diagram. I was going to do this but i sold the old boat. I will see if i still have the parts. If I do I will send them to you

It will also work with the fm transmitter but it is not the ideal way to hook it up.

I believe they have a one year warranty. Send it back and get another one

yeah hopefully they will warrantee it, i have a few other things that need to be warranteed, but I am waiting until I am sure that i am done skiing until spring, so i can get everything done at once. It is such a pain to have to drag the boat 140 miles to get it worked on.
