    Mirror Arm

Has anyone used a Mirror arm from DIY Wake?

    http://www.diywake.com/shop/shopexd.asp?id=554

I figured out the other day that I need something a little higher because all I can see is my large cabesa...

Group buy anyone? I know $80 is pretty reasonable but hey maybe we can get something going...

Or maybe someone can suggest another arm?

    Thanks!

I have one of those arms, and it works really well, although I *really* have to crank the mirror screw down to keep it from moving, although my CIPA mirror is an '03 model. I'm pretty happy with it.

I'll second that. We put one on last year that is very similar and love it. It has a 2 piece arm that allows a little more adjustment and removal of the mirror when towing. On ours the shaft the mirror clamps to is threaded into the arm and would loosen when adjusting the mirror. Drilled/tapped a hole in the arm for a setscrew.

For $30 more you can get one with a quick disconnect that isn't so Gothic looking from Monster.

Thank you Spharis... That's what I was looking for with this post... I need some suggestions... The DIYWake seems like it's a PITA to adjust and move...

Check out the one from Monster Tower. It's removeable with a quick connect, which comes in very handy for towing and other things. It will fit your tower. I love mine and wonder why I waited so long to get it.

The Monster isn't a winner when it comes to adjustment either, but it does have more articulation points than the typical mounting type. You can adjust it on all axis, as well as tilting the mirror itself. Adjustment still requires allens.

Oh, I don't know, I seem to have gotten mine dialed in pretty well. I can still adjust it without the use of tools.

You can move it up and down the tower without tools?????? Mine can swivel and the mirror can rotate up down, but I can't move it up or down, or rotate around the z-axis without tools.

No, I meant that I could adjust the mirror itself up/down and, to a limited degree, side to side. The arm is mounted tight. I did discover that you can mount it such that when you reattach the arm to the mount, you could put it in right side up or upside down. That allows me to adjust the height a bit without the use of tools.
