I'm a friend of FIC (Dom) and made a video of water ski acts being pulled by one of FIC's inboards. Copy and paste the link below and check it out!
    Thanks,

Agreed on the red circle thing.

I guess you could never attempt anything like those multiple skier tricks behind any Tige V-drive because you don't have any place on the boat to attach more than 1 skier.

In the video it appeared to be an i series boat with an extended pylon which would add stability. Are the i series pylons mounted the same on 2007 boats ?

                    Pylon Capacity?

                    sorry this should of read:
For 2007 Tige boats are the pylons on the V series boats mounted the same way as the I series boats. i.e. is the pylon on the 20V mounted like the 20I. if so FIC's boat was well over the 300 lb weight limit of the pylon.

I am furious at myself for not checking the pylons capacity before we dropped our cash. A lot of things we did (or better stated did on our old Four Winns 180 SE) we won't be able to do w/o having a potential pylon missle when we exceed 300lbs. Double Slalom (nope) Double air chair (nope). Triple 60" tubes for tube wars (nope) Oh well I won't have to worry about it until my New 2007 20V comes out of storage this spring. Is there a way to shore up the pylons mounting or is there a third party pylon that will carry more weight. According to the manual the tower has similar limitations.

Isn't this suppposed to be a ski/wakeboard boat with other recreational capabilities?

BTW excellent video. Awesome display of driving and how did those skiers stay up in that rough water?

So was that your Switch I in the beginning, and was it there at the end with new graphics?

I have a Switch V and love it. ( same color as your I )

When we pull wakeboard, we have one on the Tower, and the other on the pylon.

As far as tubes go, connect them to the transom. We use the grab bar, and I have had close to 900lbs in riders on it with no problem.

This boat was the boat that tige used to certify for awsa 3 event , I was in the need of a boat for our Tampa Bay Waterski Show Team , so they offered it to my dealership. Its a 2004 switchi with a 6.0l 400hp, that was the only (1) made with a 6.0l . As to my ski pole I dont know what it is rated for load , but going on 4 years of use I have pulled 6 man deep up on slalom skis to barefoot, 5 man jump act at 32mph with with hot pickups off the dock and 10 girl swivel off the dock , the pole bends back and goes up against the engine cover on the hit . In 4 years I have only tighen the pole twice. The rest of the boat has been normal service , oil changes impellars and 2 props, I had to switch to an oj prop because the blades on the acme would bend straight under load . As to your 20v , on my v I run 1 off the tower and one off the ski pole and adjust the ropes for length , as for tubing I pull off the transom hooks but not because of load but because my sons want more whip and that makes a big differance in the whip.

                            WOW 400 hp.
I have the 340 hp and know how fast off the line and maneuverable it is.
With that extra 60 hp it must rocket out of the hole.

It straightens the prop! That's cool. (as long as I'M not buying the props)
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?
