El Fuego

Anybody catch the Houseboat show last night on the Travel Channel? They showed an unbelievable boat called the "El Fuego" that was on Lake Powell. I recognized the lake from some of your posts here. Is that boat as Pimpalicious as it looks on TV or what!!?? It was nicer than my home--far nicer.

That thing is awesome.... I would love to have some thing like that just to call a play toy and not worry about paying for it.

That boat was anchored just around the cove from us a few months ago at lake powell. The guy who owns it has his own helicopter. He will send the boat captain out with the boat in advance and then the guy will fly in later. We needed a gallon of oil and we went by to see if they had any we could buy instead of going back to the marina. The people we talked to were just friends of the owner, but they were nice, they just gave us a gallon of oil.

I was wondering if he even drove it himself. What a play toy man! I would not want to have to worry about driving that thing around, I suppose if you can drop 2 million bones on a boat you can pay to have somebody be responsible for it while you "play."

It was on at 9:30, right? I was at my wifes parents in ABQ and I couldn't turn the channel to watch it. I saw it scroll by on their channel guide. I was hoping that the show was a lame re-run, since I couldn't see it. It sounds like it wasn't. I'll have to check and see when it's on again.

I think that is one of the only houseboats we did not party on in high shool/college. A few of my friends cleaned the boats in the slips and knew where the keys were...ahhhh the memories.
