We pay $670 yearly with them.
    Have them as well
I pay around 560 for my switch –v I have a confirmed value. (This is the price I paid for the boat) I get this amount back no mater how old the boat is, or the cost of a new boat.

also Tige water sports is a certified repair shop for them, so no adjuster needed for the claim.
Tige, it's a way of life!

Lunchbox, I'm in your area and after getting quotes from everyone, went with Progressive. I'm under $400 with full replacement value and a little higher than normal liability coverage. They also have a declining deductable with no claims- sorry, I'm a natural tease.

Yup, same deal here with the insurance and my dealer. I like the customer service, rates are at the lower end of the insurance market (I have heard of companies that are lower but I like the customer service so I will pay a little more), and they are a local company in NorCal.

Be carful with this, I know when I was checking around progressive did not cover all water ways. They had a clause that said something like it had to be a UCG governed water way. I asked about the river by parker, and found out that that water was not cover under the policy they where offering me. Also private lakes where not covered either.

I actually thumbed throught that stupid booklet that they send you saying all the things that they won't cover and lots of it uses words so big you can't understand it. After reading it, you begin to beleive that if they wanted to, they could cry foul on anything and weasel their way out of paying...I am exaggerating, but it seemed to give me more questions than answers. I also got full replacement cost.

I have a PUP and they required me to get higher limits on my home in order to get it. I wouldn't argue with an Allstate guy over it, but I was unable to choose a lower limit for my homeowners policy, and let the PUP pick up the rest.

Anyway, I noticed that kiteboarding was specifically listed as an activity that was not covered. I just thought that was interesting.

My SkiSafe policy says that using "bungee tow ropes" is not covered. I read that the day after I bought my bungee tow rope for the tube. Oops. Gotta read the whole policy.
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

I use AAA. Boat (24V) is Insured for the value what I paid. I believe the premium is $510.
