I would never own one. Only good for boat shows and wake event kinda like a concept car.

I like the idea behind it. But, why not a boat that "some-what" had the features of the corvette, and not an exact "water version" of the car? If I wanted a car, I'd buy a car, not a boat. The use of the bow & transom walkthru space is just a waste IMO. I like the idea of the seats, detailing, & the engine being corevtte like, but they threw practicallity right out the window with this boat. Then again, I'm not sure what this boat costs, but if you can afford it, you're not worried about that.

There's a market for those. My neighbor swears by his Donzi, which to me is an incredibelly disfunctional boat--little seating, not comfortable, poor rough water ride, miserable to ski behind, etc... However, he LOVES it, it suits his needs and he likes the vintage styling. To each his own I suppose.
IMO this is a sweet looking boat, wouldn't pay for it, but I would check it out for sure if one pulled next to me on the lake.
If memory serves Donzi made a corvette boat as well a few years back.
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

I used to boat in Lake Geneva (WI) alot (which is where rich people from Chicago boat at - It's in Jason's neck of the woods.) and there were always a few Donzi's that would pop up... I just remember them looking pretty cool, not that functional, but the thing I remember most was that they were always such bad a$$ sounding boats... You could hear those things coming a mile away...

Their was an Italian Company that did a something similar Corvette version about 25 years ago.
Their USA base was in San Diego.
                Never caught on.

It'll be interesting to see where this goes.
                Surprising really.
Has Malibu released any new hull design WB boats along the lines of the Z's or X's?

I like the chrome rudder and the twin exhaust tips. But other then that cool to look at, useless to own. Oh, I do like the corvette red!!

I'm sure you guys would be all over it, if it said "Tigé" on the side. Seriously, you would turn down a 7.0L V8?

interesting quote I found on that thread...
"Tige is building an R-Z4 for BMW"

What the DEUCE? I'm all over this, if it happens!

No compensation issues here, so I dont need anything "Corvette"

That is surprising with Tiges marketing geared toward the family, I would have thought they would have gone for the Grand Caravan Tige

haha thats some funny shizzle. Maybe an RZ X-5? hmm... speaking of the X-5, whats the tow rating on that bad boy? can it handle an RZ-4 with triple axle trailer?

The RZ4 will have no problem pushing that X-5 down the road
