Tree Meets Prop and Introduces it to Hull.

This weekend at Possum Kingdom we hit a tree stump and it bent the drive shaft, bent the prop, pushed the prop into the hull of the boat, and the rest was alot of scratches...

    Heres Pics:

First : Bent drive shaft (notice it's to your left of the rudder)
    Second : Bent Prop Blades
Third : Where the prop cut the bottom of the Hull.
Fourth : Off-Topic, but our new tower setup.

Yea hopefully I can get out on the water soon. With Insurance claims and ordering parts and repairing it looks like it will be in 2 to 3 weeks before I can get behind it again. But to look on the positive side, atleast it didn't cut a full hole in the hull sink the boat..

three weeks ain't bad for that kind of hit. I hope nobody was hurt. good luck with the repairs; nice looking boat.

Sorry to hear about your boat. We took ours out there for the slalom shop gig and were lucky to have an uneventful time. It was very pretty and I would like to go back, but the wife doesn't understand why I don't like to go to unfamiliar lakes. hope you get her back up and running soon.

Ouch! I bent my prop this weekend, but not that bad!

Thanks. Nobody was hurt luckily, just a little bit shocked. The service people said it wasn't that bad compared to what they have seen, but IMO its pretty bad. Hopefully the parts will get ordered today and come in by the end of the week and the insurance part wont delay anything and we should be back on the water soon.

Ichoop, I agree its a great lake. We will probably going back soon also. I'll be posting my video from wakeboarding there and cliff jumping off the cliffs around Hells Gate. After we got back to the dock we looked at the map of the lake and realized we were going down the narrow part of the river (almost to the end of the boatable part) and went straight into an underwater barrier of trees.

                        OUCH

                        Wow David

Thats Nasty. Glad no one was injured. It's easier to repair boats than body parts.

Hope you get back on the lake SOON.

What kind of tower is that? Who makes it? How much did you pay? etc.

                            Thanks
